Penelope opened her eyes and she saw her daughters' faces for the last time. She knows that this is going to be the end as she waits for them to kill her. The moment they attacked her, all of her emotions came back like it was in the beginning. The old Penelope was back and the two were too late to realize that. They already cut her head off.
