After the incident in Penelope's house, Manuel brought her to the hospital and called Dazaree and his friends. They helped them out even though they didn't know what happened. Penelope doesn't want to to know anything and he made Manuel promise he won't tell anyone.
When everybody left except for Manuel, he walked towards her bed and sat on the chair facing her. She was staring at the ceiling while she's lying on the bed.
He sighed and said, "I promised that I won't tell anyone so you would accept my offer to bring you here. I respect that. However, I believe we should tell the police about this. You never know what she'll do when you two see each other again." He's just worried about her. Besides, he studied about laws here in the human world when he found out about the crimes that has been happening here since. He was really surprised about that because none of that happens in Nirvana.
