__________ POV Ashton__________
Now, when faced with such an opponent the most intelligent decision would be to run the fuck away.
But I do wish to check how he's been doing the past few years. So, I will just... Send a present his way before I run somewhere else.
After all, my teacher, with all of his power, simply cannot overcome that slow movement speed of his.
He did use to have a few methods of manipulating Nen that allowed him to move faster, but they are all lost now that he's a mindless beast too.
If he was still intelligent, I wouldn't have much of a chance to escape him at all. Well, if he wished me to die that is.
My teacher used to be a pacifist, he would much faster consume dirt than kill off some other animals in the forests to feed himself. He didn't even need food to survive anyway.
He would only indulge in fruits from time to time.
Now, any semblance of his older convictions is lost to the wind. There's nothing left of him inside that thing.
I can even see the traces of blood on his legs, which are obviously not his.
Not even a legendary beast would be able to overcome his defences to such an extent as to draw blood from him. Even if he was to be in a frenzied state.
If I am to compare my current Nen reserves to it, then it would be like comparing a small campfire to a festival bonfire. In the past, I was like a torch.
Most humans don't even reach the level of a 'match'. So I guess I am still quite good... At least by comparison.
Still, it's a bit of a shame that he isn't even able to use much of his power now.
Now, it's certainly been a while since I've seen him in full size. It would take me around three hours to reach him, but he's also headed my way. So I can always just choose to wait for a bit.
I climbed up the top of the mountain with a few bursts of wind and stared at him at almost eye level. Although he's still quite far away, he will be towering over me when he gets closer.
I sat down on the rocks and stared at the approaching King of the Dark Continent. I wonder what type of gift should I even leave him...
I have a few ideas, but I guess I can just blow off one of his hands for now. Now, the only Hatsu I have capable of doing that is Parasitic Explosion.
It needs to be internal, even then, it will be difficult to blow it cleanly off, but at least dealing some damage is possible.
The King of Ants was lucky he had that strange Devouring Hatsu, or maybe it was an inborn ability? It allowed him to completely ignore my strongest Hatsu.
My teacher doesn't have any of that. He can't counter it at all in his current state. In the past, he would just strengthen himself a bit and shrug it off without issue.
Now, he will likely just start swinging his arms around in anger.
Although, approaching him and dodging around will be quite a bit of fun... Well, there's the other problem.
While my teacher will get here slowly, the other beasts around have already started making their way up the mountain.
They are like a swarm of ants crawling around everywhere. It's a bit irritating. I'd blow them all away if it didn't take so much aura out of me. (and if I didn't have chances of dying while doing so)
Some beasts were already reaching the top, the larger ones were trying to jump towards me. I just flew off into the clouds and ignored them completely. Still fixated on my approaching teacher.
Then, I could hear a distinct flapping of wings. Then a huge tornado sweeping me into it from midair. I was forced to use 'Wind Aspect' to separate myself from it.
As I looked around, I could see another predator staring me down. It seems I've encountered yet another Roc.
This time, not asleep, and certainly not friendly at all. Well, wrestling control over the winds from it will be extremely difficult. So I am better off just fleeing... Or, I could just kill it.
It won't be all that difficult, if only it was alone. A large army of all manners of flying abominations seemed to pour out from inside the clouds.
I was forced to fly straight towards my teacher. I'll meet him halfway, give him the present, and flee.
Little problem, the Rock didn't seem to want me to use the Wind Strider Boots, every time I release a burst from them, the propulsion is weaker than usual.
The rock seems to want to pull me towards it. I let myself be pulled towards it, and just as the swarm was closing in on me and the wings of the Roc were about to envelop me.
I released a powerful explosion, sending me flying towards my destination and temporarily stunning most of my close air pursuers.
The Roc was sent hurtling towards the ground, it will get back up, but I have a window of opportunity to gain some distance from them all.
I once again let off 'Mines' behind me, and kept flying forwards towards my destination. My teacher was already close, his head was well above the clouds.
I flew up at him and stared him in the eye. This time more closely. I don't know what I was expecting, but there truly isn't any intelligence in them...
Oh well, better dodge that swipe of his.
He swiped at me with one of his snake hands, his strike parting all of the clouds and killing off many of my air pursuers.
The hand used was one of the human ones, which were placed above the snake ones. I decided to blow one of them up.
The snake ones were more flexible in nature and would be more annoying to reach. (they'd likely just coil around me anyway, but it's worth a shot)
I quickly created a clone and sent it flying towards the head of the titan, it spun around in the air and prepared a dropkick on one of the eyes.
Right before it was gobbled up by one of the snake hands, meanwhile, I dashed towards the one side of the body that was more occupied(the one eating the clone) and landed on the shoulder.
I spread my En a Kilometer around his arm, I barely covered the upper part of his 'human' arm. I then immediately jumped away, as the snake hand was already on to me.
I flew away a bit before I was out of its reach, then I detonated the arm.
My teacher's right shoulder was immediately engulfed in flames, the explosion tore through his defences from inside out.
The explosion was the size of a nuclear one, but there was no radiation to be had. I could see his hand still dangling on the side of his body.
Meanwhile, I'm still running away from his snake hand and staring at it. I guess I didn't manage to blow it off properly, but it's only hanging on to a few strands of muscle and scale.
Although, it was already healing by the time I looked away... Oh well, I made my point, the way my teacher is now is quite disgraceful to his previous strength.
I can even play around with him to this extent...
After that, I quickly sped off in the opposite direction, after a few thousand kilometres of flying with explosions I started using my boots.
It's time to lose my pursuers now. After that, I'll study the doll a bit.
