Chapter 1 - Fall of Nevaeh

Horizons brimming sky of purity. The color of honey milk. Clouds distant, yet mesmerizing, allocated perfectly and aligned to create a scenery of pure peace.

Around this scenery, in the center of this amass space was a palace.

A palace that barked lavish, spacious to bark lavish, and aroma that barked lavish. Yet despite all this lavishness, a dent of dullness was clearly apparent.

Most people with a taste of lavish wouldn't settle with a simple palace. They would acquire more means to keep barking their lifestyle, yet however this wore the bare minimum and halted there.

No astonishing flowers, or path, or fountain, or gates, no gardens, no forte, no abundance of people. Seemingly as if its a ghost place.

"Lucifer, our lord, the scouts that were sent to patrol the perimeters a while ago have come back."

A women clothed in a pure white puff sleeve dress, that continued till above her knees, spoke out loud.

The dress was made with additional layers, that not only room for zero transparency was noticeable. Yet comfortable for the wearer of such dress could move conveniently around.

"The report claims that nigh was spotted, as per usual."

She finished her sentence and bowed.

Her macaroon ringlet hair flailing to the front as she lowered down.

"So, no signs of any Tao practitioner?"

She rose her head and gave a simple nod.

Gazing above her, her emerald, green eyes stared at him in anticipation.

She took a deep breathe and

"That's right. Nothing out of the unusual. At this point, we're not sure of any will come at all."

The man who sat with a leg crossed over another and leaning on a hand. Stood up and opened his eyes.

A handsome man around the height of 170 cm(5'7 ft) with dandelion hair color that's short on the front but shoulders length on the back stood up.

His emerald green eyes paired up with her and looked directly at her. A string connection was upheld for a couple of seconds then abruptly dissolved.

His foot clicked as he walked down and stood right in front of her.

Dressed in a golden attire, his sharp features looked at her giving a haughty look, he took a deep breath and

"Guess that's it, huh?"

He shrugged it off and continued to walk out the corridor they were in.

The women in white clothed abruptly turned around and followed him.

Taking long strides to catch up with his already given lead, as her ringlet hair swung side to side she replied with a

"That gets really annoying, you always give off the presence of an almighty divine being that your supposed to be and end up disheartening others when you show your loose side."

The man walking up front stopped briefly, and continued walking afterwards. His instantaneous stop and sudden walk puzzled the lady behind but nonetheless kept following him.

As soon as they reached the end off the corridor the man grabbed the handle of the door and opened it for the lady behind.

"Thanks, I guess."

They continued walking and soon enough were in a spacious hall room, candles lit next to the walls and ceiling. Both continued their strides to the center where food laid on a lucrative table.

The man sat and began eating messily, holding no manners. It would be quite funny if it even was considered acceptable to any species alive with a shed of intelligence.

The women sighed and reached her arm to halt the ill-mannered man.

"You lack civil customs that even the less intelligent of beings would know."

The man continued eating, this crude eating. It's hilarious to think that civil isn't part of this persons dictionary.

The women's eyebrows sharpened as she was getting irritated.

"Lucifer of the nevaeh 5 Angels, I order you stop."

With that statement, he gazed his emerald eyes over her. Smacking his food, producing as much noise as possible. Once he was done spiting back he swallowed in satisfaction.

"What? Raphael the messenger..... You've been really persistent in trying to piss me off you know?

Raphael only swung her her to the side.

"Well we're even then. And what's this? I thought I couldn't incite your anger at all. After all, we're not much different."

Lucifer with his apathetic gleam protested.

"Wrong, we're very much different. Just because we have similar features and you were created using my soul energy. Does not mean we are at all the same."

She tilted her head and gave a faint smile.

"That's not my problem. You created me wanting the features similar to how you look but that's very difficult to successfully replicate into a different gender entirely."

He shook his shoulder away and got her hand separated from him.

He sat there bathing in the silence. Rose his face towards the surface of the ceiling and let out a sigh of discomfort. His strained face evaluated his thoughts.

"Why do I have to have standards? Look we have nothing to worry about."

Raphael stuttered to her seat and sat down rather calmly. Leaning her chin on her arm as a rest.

"That's exactly why. We've had nothing to worry about. Living like this is a major problem. What if something problematic happened?"

This question irritated him. He chuckled in displeasure.

"What if?"

...

"Yes, what if."

Lucifer shook his head. This was unbelievable, talking in a different language. He hated when he couldn't communicate with his own servant.

"You know i hate these types of questions Raphael. Talking about things that won't happen is useless."

Raphael lowered her gaze to the table and gathered herself her share of the food. Mostly meat, a somewhat similar appetite to what Lucifer has.

"Look, you think a lot of things are pointless. As a divine being, not only do you lack manner, presence, but also are not knowledgeable."

A strained face opened upon Lucifer. He grinned forcefully.

"Not knowledgeable, that kinda...."

However, as he was about to finish his sentence. Raphael interrupted him with a slight finger.

"You still say cultivators are practitioners. They stopped calling them that a long time ago. Plus not many people mention Tao anymore oddly, its usually Dao."

She kept her hand risen as she grabbed a lean piece of meat on the other hand and gently took a bite. Eating and chewing respectfully without making unnecessary sounds.

As she finished.

"People only use Dao for weird phrases such as. 'I will keep training so I must learn the way of the Dao,', 'Dao is my life, if i keep training my body in the way of the Dao, I will soon soar like the dragons and split mountains, then all the girls will fall for me', 'In the way of the Dao, my young master's way is the only true way. I will follow you all the way Young Master!!"

At Raphael, mockery and remarks. Lucifer couldn't stand but laugh at the nonsense she was spouting.

"What the hell? How did Tao turn into Dao? Do those people really say that? Hahaha, Young master!!? Meer humans are stupid these days."

At Lucifer's childish remarks over a change in pronunciation.

Raphael grinned and said.

"Ohh? I thought you hated being called that? Isn't that way you told me to call you lord instead?"

Lucifer slowly brought back his haughty demeanor after a while and responded with

"I absolutely hate, being called young master always left a dirty....mark on me.

Raphael starred at him and continued her meal.

"Well as I said. You're centuries behind. The martial artist cultivators have regressed and stemmed down. People are still competitive. However a lack of talent or whatever is happening down there have staggered them."

Lucifer rose and eyebrow.

"I thought you would know, you regularly descend to the human realm and send messages. Don't you?"

Raphael, finishing her meal, wiping her mouth, stood up.

"I do, but i don't have decency to actually care about their situation."

She patted her dress, and pushed herself to the side.

"But there are around 5 people. As far as I know that have the mastery of Golden Age."

The bombarding of such bizarre words spiralled Lucifer uneasy. The stomach ill words, could not be taken for granted. Even for his full deluded self, he needed verification.

"Did you say full mastery of the Golden Age? Not just reached Golden Age? But have gotten to stage 9 of the Golden Age!?"

Uncertainty covered on Raphael's face for a second, then she resumed her original stance.

"Im certain, so please be careful."

She said as she walked out of the hall room.
