The two of them stared intently at the pitch-dark corridor, and sure enough, following a dragging sound from footsteps on the floor, a blood-soaked male Zombie ran out from the darkness. One of his arms was missing, the other appeared to have been torn off by something.
Lu Hao stepped in front of Su Jin and kicked the approaching male Zombie away, then plunged the Ghost Hand Knife directly into the Zombie's forehead.
Because of the noise made by the male Zombie, the motion-sensor lights in the dim stairwell also lit up, and the two finally saw clearly what the corridor looked like.
As expected, the stairs and walls were almost completely covered in bloodstains, but there were no bodies to be found, which was suspiciously clean.
"It looks like it could be a mutant animal of some sort," analyzed Su Jin.
"Right, let's try to avoid that."
Lu Hao moved to the front, planning to lead them out as soon as possible.
