Xia Yangyang was chided by the boss, actually feeling a bit embarrassed, "Thank you, boss."
"Having the signature big bowl again today?"
Xia Yangyang nodded.
Then the boss casually asked, "And your boyfriend?"
Xia Yangyang was just about to explain that Gu Zhaohan was not her boyfriend.
But Gu Zhaohan had already spoken up, "The same for her will be fine."
"Alright, coming right up!" the boss happily called out and turned to enter the kitchen.
Xia Yangyang pursed her lips.
Forget it, explaining seemed rather meaningless anyway.
Xia Yangyang poured Gu Zhaohan a bowl of hot water, "Have some hot water first, warm up your stomach."
Gu Zhaohan took the cup, "Thank you."
Gu Zhaohan took a sip.
The two of them were sitting at a narrow little table, waiting for the noodles to come.
Sitting face to face at such a close distance, Xia Yangyang always felt somewhat awkward.
Gu Zhaohan, however, appeared quite at ease.
