Gu Qichen noticed that Xia Yangyang's complexion seemed a little off.
Actually, toward the end, Gu Qichen had a suspicion.
That young man and Xia Yangyang were likely not in "that" kind of relationship.
They had not gone upstairs after entering the elevator.
Instead, they went to the underground parking garage.
They had stayed there for no more than ten minutes.
Then he saw the annoying young man drive away.
Yet, when Xia Yangyang came back, she looked as if she had lost her soul.
Gu Qichen frowned and asked, "What happened?"
"Gu Qichen, I don't have the energy to talk to you. Could you please leave? I need to rest. I don't want to see you right now."
It was almost a pleading tone from Xia Yangyang.
But Gu Qichen just stood there frowning, his aura darkened, his feet still.
Xia Yangyang knew he'd probably not going anywhere.
But she barely had the strength to show someone the door.
She simply grabbed a pillow and a blanket from the bed and went to the bedroom next door.
