On one side, Wen Jin's eyes flickered slightly, becoming a touch deeper.
The gaze of Gu Kai and Luo Haofeng simultaneously landed on Wen Ran.
They couldn't hear what the person on the other end of the phone said, but Wen Ran's words, 'Don't bother him', took them aback.
"Ranran, why?"
Bai Xiaoxiao asked in confusion, "Simply because you once made a dreadful vow to Cheng Jia? Ranran, that was all a sham, there's no need to take it to heart."
Wen Ran chuckled ruefully, "Xiaoxiao, it matters to me."
It mattered far too much to her.
"Cheng Jia isn't seeing him."
"I'm aware. He returned alone."
Wen Ran's smile warmed at the thought of Cheng Jia's frustrated questioning and warnings, instantly lifting her gloom.
"Xiaoxiao, I want to let things be. You don't need to do anything, I will come over in a bit."
Wen Ran faltered, then added another sentence.
After hanging up, she saw that all three of them were looking at her.
