"Xiuchen, really?"
Wen Ran looked up at Mo Xiuchen in surprise.
Upon receiving her gaze, a hint of confusion flashed in Mo Xiuchen's eyes, and he furrowed his eyebrows, trying to recall the time he stated in the telephone conversation to Gu Kai and Wen Jin last night, and asked them: "Didn't I tell you that it was at eleven o'clock?"
Gu Kai and Wen Jin exchanged glances, thinking that Mo Xiuchen was planning to evade responsibility.
Just as Gu Kai was about to speak, Mo Xiuchen frowned as though he understood something. His words seemed apologetic, but his face showed no sign of regret: "I seem to really have remembered wrongly. Initially, I thought of booking that flight. But then I was worried that it's too early and that Ranran might not be able to get up. So, I changed it to the next flight."
Wen Jin and Gu Kai had a twitch at the corner of their mouths.
