The New Year's Eve dinner at Mo Xiuchen's house was rather lively; if it weren't for uninvited guests, the atmosphere would have been even more harmonious.
Originally, Mo Xiuchen only invited Wen Jin and Gu Yan and his son, but when dinner started that evening, the dining table was packed with people.
Besides Luo Haofeng, who had arrived early in the morning, there were also Mo Jingteng and Mo Zixuan, who were not particularly welcome and appeared at sunset yet seemed to not realise this.
"It's just Zixuan and me at home, which is too quiet. Old Gu, I heard you were here, so I came to liven things up."
Mo Jingteng pretended not to see the unwelcome and indifferent expression on Mo Xiuchen's face, and cordially greeted Gu Yan. Before their arrival, Gu Yan, Luo Haofeng, Wen Jin, and others were chatting happily, but their conversation came to a halt as he entered.
