Mo Xiuchen may be abroad, but he calls Wen Ran every day.
Qin Mu rearranged his schedule to drive Wen Ran to and from the hospital every day, starting the following morning.
On Thursday night, Mo Xiuchen and Wen Ran talked on the phone for over half an hour. Despite her urging him to hang up, he insisted on staying on the line, so she could fall asleep while hearing his voice.
Perhaps due to his voice still on the line, or some other reason, Wen Ran was able to sleep without dreams that night, even without him being there with her.

In the afternoon, as Wen Ran was helping Bai Xiaoxiao get out of bed, Wen Ran received a call from an unfamiliar number. The woman on the line introduced herself as Tong Shishi, asking to meet with Wen Ran.
