Mo Xiuchen and Wen Ran walked to the hotel entrance, just as Gu Yan was entering through the revolving door.
"Dad!"
Wen Ran saw Gu Yan first and called out to him. Mo Xiuchen, who always kept his eyes on Wen Ran, saw Gu Yan enter and asked with concern, "Dad, didn't you get any rest last night?"
There was a faint tiredness between his brows, presumably he hadn't returned to the hotel all night from the lab.
Gu Yan smiled, looking lovingly at Wen Ran, "I was afraid that Ranran would wake up as late as a few days before, so I thought I would come back and wake you up. I didn't expect you to get up so early this morning."
Wen Ran cheekily stuck out her tongue, "Dad, didn't I wake up early today? The other days, I didn't wake up that late, it was still before lunchtime."
"Haha, not late, it wasn't dinner time yet."
As Gu Yan said this, his gaze subtly swept over Mo Xiuchen who was standing next to her. The latter remained calm, his eyes softly focused on Wen Ran.
