Mo Xiuchen pulled Wen Ran out of Gu Kai's arms, wiping away her tears with his hand, his voice gentle and low, "Ranran, don't cry. There'll be other people coming tonight. Your identity is still kept secret for now. When you leave this room and go downstairs, you're still Wen Ran."
The party was hosted by Gu Kai, but it was for Mo Xiuchen's wife's birthday party. Everyone knew they were close, and it wasn't unusual for him to invite them home to celebrate Wen Ran's birthday.
