About a minute later, Lauren came out from the medical bay looking beat. She had treated Vlad and now she had to join hands with Elizabeth to help David and all the others that had minor injuries from the demon siege. The only other qualified medical personnel were Damian and Ma'am Rose.
"How is he?" Damian asked.
"He has a severe concussion and he broke his neck. We need to take him to the MRI. He might have a hemorrhage."
"How bad is that exactly?" Mark inquired.
"He could suffer a stroke." Lauren said plainly.
Mark was taken aback. He was feeling down due to David's situation. He saw it as his fault. He could get the refugees himself but he took David along just because he couldn't mind his business.
Damian sighed and said, "Let me take a look at him."
Damian took a few steps till he got to the door of the medical bay.
