The Misty Peak Lord is getting impatient with the clown prancing around his feet. He opened up his palm and swatted it right down to Kiev. "Farewell everyone, we shall be together at the other side." Right when Kiev closes his eyes and the palm of the peak lord hits him. The hand of the lord was pierced by "The Breaker". [System: Lucky Strike: 1-hit kill strike initiated] Cracks began to form at the palm of the lord, it stretched from the palm to his whole body. The lord wanted to scream but no voice has left his mouth - only a hollow shriek like that of a woman's, was the only sound heard when his body has been annihilated.
Kiev's eyes nearly fall from its sockets when he saw the lord perished. He had no idea what happened as he was only braising himself to the death that awaits him. "Haaa... I'm alive??"

"Oy. My eyes are fooling me right now, aren't they?" Kiev was astonished at the system's notifications. He had not expected that at the very last moment, the system would step in and help him escape the dire situation he's in. "Is it the system or is this part of my ability?" Kiev was fully aware that this has been the 2nd time that he had escaped death and thus, thought arrogantly that the ability to escape death is a result of his efforts.
"So this means that no matter what I do, no one could take me dow--" right in the middle of Kiev's self-praise, a huge boulder dropped on top of him and he was smashed. [System: Undying will ability triggered. Invulnerability for 3 seconds enabled. Cooldown 24 hours] Kiev pulled himself from the boulder and thought "System, you sneaky bastard! I know it was all on you! Come on! Let me just boost my self-confidence, will you? Did you teach me a lesson as to how the skill "Undying Will" works? You damn fox!"
Kiev scanned the items he received from slaying the Mountain Lord. He saw a bindle-like bag which is decorated with moving stars. "So this is what a bag of cosmos looked like?" Kiev inspected inside the bag and, like the cosmos, it is infinite and it could store basically anything regardless of size and weight. "This is so convenient! Now there's no problem storing items since this useless system couldn't even pull an inventory of its own. Bah!"
He glanced over the remaining items, the palace key, and the tyrant's cleaver. He isn't exactly sure about the special quest he obtained with regards to the cleaver but he knew very well that the palace key is the key to his new home. "I'm filthy rich, that palace lord may have spawn just over a week but it's a known fact that what's inside that villa is definitely precious!"
Kiev had greed painted all over his face. He was eager to reach the mansion located in a remote place at Misty Peak, so what he did was he, without hesitation, climbed the treacherous steps of resembling Tibet and finally have been able to see what the mansion looked like. Upon seeing groups of beasts guarding the entrance of the abode, he retreated all the way back to the cave where the dragon sleeps. Disregarding the fact that he spent hours in mere trekking. "Fuck, those beasts! I didn't know that they would still be loyal in guarding the manor despite their master being killed. Should I just focus on my progress?"
It was about sunset when he reached the cave where the dragon sleeps and he was surprised to see that the dragon was no longer there. It was within his expectations that killing a lord might have set an unsafe vibe and disturbed the dragon, making it flee. "Guess it's only me now huh?" Kiev almost forgot to open his skills tab so he prompted the system for a new skill scan. Kiev was in awe when he saw that the "Mystic Luck Arts" skill had opened, what first entered his mind is, this would definitely increase his survival in this world.
Kiev saw the only active skill available in the "Mystic Luck Arts" named "Random Spell Chant" which made Kiev scratch his head. "System, what is this skill?"

"No way... This is awesome! With this, I would be able to work on my level! Problem solved. *coughs* Better make way beasts 'cause there's a new magician in town! BWAHAHAHA" Kiev is eager to try his new skill in a cloud beast but noticed that the night is fast approaching. Living in a mountain peak, the cold is unbearable at night so he planned to start a fire to make himself warm.
Due to his lack of knowledge in starting a fire using flint and wood, he considered using his skill and try his luck in casting a fire element level 1 magic. "Okay, here it goes!"
[System: Random Spell Chant skill used
Random Spell Generated: Level 4 - Conflagration
Casting.... 5-4-3-2-1 --
"MAKE RUN FOR IT! FUCK!" Kiev sprinted like an athlete outside the cave when the system initiated the countdown. He knew that a level 4 spell is a devastating spell so right before the system could finish the countdown, with his nimbleness, he ran a half kilometer before slumping to the ground. He wished for a fire spell to be cast and he, indeed, received such but he did not take into account the level of the spell that would appear because he felt that a 90% chance for a level 1 spell is what most likely would appear.
When the system finished casting the spell, a roar of flames engulfed the cave and a huge fireball fired from the cave's mouth. Like a cannon that's lit, it fired the fireball to Kyiv's location. If Kyiv had not fully dove to the ground, he would have been roast meat. "That is dangerous! Holy shit. So much for a safe place to stay the night! There's no way that I could still stay in that cave with those roaring fires around. Sigh... Might as well make use of this fire-spitting cave to light up a torch and make a fire in my new settlement. Damn it!"
