Wendell was dumbfounded when he saw Wang Teng.
He came directly after receiving the mission, wanting to complete it before Wang Teng. He wanted to show General Cameron that he was the more outstanding person.
His team entered the forest and met Devil Vines halfway through. They got here after many hardships.
Yet, Wang Teng and his team were here too, and he looked… relaxed.

This area was the Devil Vines' territory. Normal martial warriors would be tormented terribly if they met them. They might not even be able to leave this place alive.
Wang Teng was just a celestial-stage martial warrior. Some of his team members were still injured, so they shouldn't be the Devil Vines' match.
Wendell didn't understand.
