Rose's maid conveys news to the king's guards that Rose will not meet the king and queen; Rose's refusal makes the king angry.
In his room, he was enjoying a delicious meal with his new wife and his best friend, the great general. They were laughing while listening to the entertaining music. There was also a dancer in front of them.
But the news delivered by Rose's maid was not a pleasant one.
"How could Rose refuse her father's request. She is so impudent! I seem too soft on her, she should be given a little punishment." said the king, annoyed.
His wife and the great general exchanged glances for a moment, then the queen tried to calm her husband down.
"Calm down, my husband Rose is probably busy studying, I heard that academic teachers are very proud of her ability." She lied.
