"Leah, you have to eat, we've been waiting for you since earlier it turns out you spent your time here with--" Jack's gaze pierced Winter's eyes.
They had no problems before, their relationship seemed fine, but at this time, Jack's eyes were different.
"All right," Leah replied curtly, she stepped out and turned around, when she realized that neither Winter nor Jack was following her steps. "How about you two, are you not tired and not hungry?" Leah asked.
"You go ahead, I have important things to discuss with Winter," Jack said without turning to Leah, he was still staring at Winter's face without blinking, his face looked stiff.
Leah stared at Winter's flat face and then she gave a faint smile. "Alright then," she said and left Winter and Jack. Maybe they'll discuss tactics of war or something.
Leah didn't care, she was feeling hungry and tired right now, after all.
