People stared strangely at Leah as she delivered Snack in the student office. She tried to calm down even though her heart was wandering. What do these eyes mean? She rushed out, when she closed the door it seemed like a voice was gossiping about her. Actually what she has done?.
As she pulled the door handle and closed it carefully, Jack was looking another way. The man still saw the incident at the edge of the hall in front of the elevator. He smiled a little with a happy face.
"The show will be great!" He said.
He saw that the fight between the two girls would be even more complicated because a second later, a man was holding another woman.
The man is the lover of the second girl, a man who was seduced by the first girl, but he has another lover, we call the third girl !.
It doesn't matter, Leah looked at Jack's happy face.
"What is wrong?" Leah asked curiously about Jack's happy face.
He was surprised to find that the argument in front was getting hotter.
Three women were involved in the quarrel.
"Do you like watching people fight?" asked Leah suddenly to Jack.
Jack was surprised by the question of the beautiful girl who was looking at his serious face at this time.
"Why did you asked that question?" Replied Jack with a question too.
"You did it on purpose, didn't you!" Leah guessed with an accusing face on Jack.
Jack averted his eyes, he focused on Leah's face that looked like a presiding judge. "You're accusing me? What have I done?" Jack asked pretending to be innocent, he went back to watching the girls fight, which ended up screaming at each other until the lecturer came to intervene.
"You pushed that girl, didn't you. Did you push her down on purpose? Her leg was injured and bleeding .." Leah sighed with a pitty face.
Jack stifled a laugh at Leah's accusation at him. He still had a calm and relaxed face.
"I didn't even saw you getting into the elevator." Jack did not argue with Leah's opinion. He likes to come and go like the wind.
Jack thought Leah must have had a strong mind, they could sense the presence of a fellow-vampire-just by smelling their bodies, or through felt a drastic room changed temperature.
"You're a magician right!" Leah guessed with a confident face.
Jack paused at Leah's guess. No, it can't be! He was sure Leah was joking saying that he was a magician.
"Are you kidding?" Said Jack with a flat face without expression.
Can a person with a high and honorable position, she must have extraordinary powers! Jack thought Leah was aware of the magical abilities within him. But a magician! It sounded nonsense to Jack's ear.
"Magician?" Jack repeated, he couldn't believe this word on his lips, to be honest, he didn't like magicians and similar professions.
They started to leave the hallway, towards the escalator, they chose another route, avoiding a fight between three girls who fought seizures the one man earlier.
"Listen, sir!"
Sir! for twice, Jack was confused by what Leah said. "What do you mean sir? My name is Jack!" Jack replied massaged his forehead and stifled a laugh. The call of sir earlier sounded ridiculous in his ears.
"Okay, so your name is Jack? My name is Leah!"
Yes, I know! Jack silently replied.
"I want you to explain what happened that night!"
Wait, Jack stopped walking. She tried to remember about that night in Leah's sentence just now.
"Ah, you mean, the night I broke your cell phone! Oh yes, here. I'm here to give this to you!" Jack reached out, asked for Leah's hand.
The girl looked confused and didn't want to reach out.
Jack took something from behind the black suit he was wearing. There was a box in his hand, he put the famous cell phone brand into Leah's hand.
Finding an expensive cellphone, the latest release, made Leah surprised. "What is this?" It's a cell phone, why are you still asking.
"Where's your old cell phone. Give it to me!" Asked Jack impatiently. He raised his hand.
Leah picked up the old cell phone in the pocket of her uniform. A phone with a thousand cracked screens.
Jack took over Leah's old cell phone. He took out the girl's Simcard.
"It's yours. And this thing is mine!" He handed Leah the SIM card while her cell phone was in his coat pocket. Keeps it well in his pocket.
"Wait!" Leah didn't accept it right away. "The old phone I can still use. Besides, this new phone is too expensive, I can't accept it." Leah replied.
"Ah, you said a line that made my heart hurt!" Jack softly, holding his chest, making a sad face.
Leah shook her head. This man was strange from the first time they met.
"Accept it. I'll be hurt if you refuse!" Jack continued then. The man-made smile on the lips.
-This protective pearl came back to me! - Said his thought happily.
He left the pearl on Leah's cell phone. And now the pearl was back in place, into Jack's chest without anyone seeing. Included Leah.
"Are you still working at the nightclub?" Jack asked then, they continued their steps again. Head for the lower floor.
"No. I don't think I belong in a nightclub." Leah replied.
Jack smiled even wider. That means he can calm down a little.
Leah doesn't work at the nightclub anymore, which means Jack doesn't have to worry about Leah because Edward's chances of getting Leah are very difficult.
"You're right. If you need a job, just give me a call!"
Jack gave Leah her business card.
The girl reads the writing on the business card and there is only Jack's name there along with the cellphone number, there is no information on the name of the office or organization or the social media link.
"Where do you work?" Leah asked with a suspicious face.
"What kind of job do you need?" Jack loves to answer questions with a question. Leah got pissed off.
"Can't you answer people's questions without asking, do you?" Leah cynical.
"Usually that's the way it is!" Jack replied without guilt.
"I work at the convenience store here. Would you like to stop by?"
There has arrived at the campus lobby, across from there is a large parking lot, if you look at the cross line, you will see the convenience store where Leah works.
"I work there!"
Leah arched her eyebrows to see that Belen's shop looked crowded. She wondered what happened there.
The girl left Jack, half running. She's afraid that something bad might happen, maybe a robbery or ... fire? Whatever, she's a worry.
Jack followed Leah's lead, but halfway past the parking lot, he stopped walking. His eyes stared at the familiar figure in the convenience store.
Wait! His mind was asking fast.
What is he doing there! Jack silently asked himself.
He spun around quickly, his back to the convenience store where Max was busy serving his customers - as well as his fans.
"Why is he here?" Jack couldn't believe his eyesight. His face looked irritated.
The man returned to the campus lobby. He couldn't follow Leah's steps.
"I just got a protective pearl, just woke up from fainting. I couldn't see the man's eyes. I could fall back unconscious!" In a low voice, Jack was concerned with himself.
He walked anywhere before finally, his figure disappeared along with dense smoke.
****
What's going on here. Max looks busy serving customers, his face looks sweaty even though he still attracts a friendly smile, he is very suitable to be a department store waiter.
Seeing Leah's gape face, Max welcomed happily. It turned out to be quite tired even though it only helped scan product barcodes.
"You're back!" Exclaimed Max happily.
Seeing Leah's arrival, only Max seemed happy. The others looked displeased.
Leah walked over to Max at the checkout counter. She still looks confused even though her hands are busy helping Max - it seems upside down! -
A few minutes later, the customer is back to normal.
Max could take a deep breath, he was so happy! Although a little sore and tired.
"Max, what are you doing?" Leah asked then taking a box of fruit juice. She handed it to Max.
"What is this?" Asked Max at the fruit juice box.
"For you, you've helped me. Thank you." Leah replied with a sweet smile.
Max smiled, his cheeks flushed red. He took the juice box from Leah.
"Drink up!" Leah asked.
Max shook his head lightly. "I'll drink when I'm thirsty!" Replied him.
He had no intention of drinking the juice that Leah had given him. He will keep this juice in his bag. He will keep the first gift from Leah. It's too precious for him.
"Max, I still have three hours of work time. Aren't you waiting for me too long? Shouldn't you just go home?" Leah asked then.
He had rejected Max's offer beforehand, but this man still seemed determined to take Leah home tonight.
"No problem Leah. I still have campus activities, I will do other tasks while you are still working. I'll be back here 3 hours later. How?" Max's offer sounded reasonable.
Leah was back to work.
Meanwhile, Max keeps the juice box in his bag. He will leave this shop for a while. He will do several assignments in the library, the sooner the task is completed, the more free time he will get. He will have a lot of time with Leah. That's what was in his head at this moment.
Max left a smile before pushing open the glass door.
"We'll meet again later, ok?" He said, saying goodbye.
Leah nodded slightly with a faint smile on her lips.
That girl couldn't hide the happiness in her heart. She's been trying to calm down since earlier. Even though in her heart was churning hot.
After Max left, Leah stomped her foot, her body hot, burning.
"What the hell is he doing! He helped me voluntarily, he wanted to take me home! Geez! This is a dream!" Leah softly whispered to herself.
She pinched her arm and screamed in pain.
This is not a dream! This is not a dream! That's how her heart shouted repeatedly.
"Wait!" Leah's brows tightened. "Looks like I forgot one more man!" She stared out the glass wall. "Where was that man?" She asked in oddity. "There are many things I want to ask him!"
