Being chained to a cave wall was not what I expected from this night but I had no time to waste I needed an answer to the riddle and fast. He said
"OK, 7 letter word and the word has to have 1 left after taking four out."
Circel says "You idiot Magnus he might get it."
"I doubt it it took Dalten some time to get it, more than an hour actually."
Circel then says "If he gets it then you'll explain to your brother where his power source is."
She walks away in anger and says "Aretha take the tools to the ship we leave in an hour."
They both leave that cave with equipment and I am in the cave with the man named Magnus. He sits patiently waiting for an answer and I think the "one." in my head is right. The word I chose to be my answer was someone.
My arms were aching from being hung up all night and my chest was in pain as well. And I don't know what happened to my mother or Flora. But I will soon find out with this answer. I leaned up and said,
"The answer is Someone."
He opens his resting eyes and says, "You really don't keep track of time now do you?'
"What is that supposed to mean?" I replied
"This cave is under a time spell so time runs faster than usual, it has been 3 hours in realtime but for us, it has been 30 minutes."' He says giggling
"You tricked me," I commented
He walks closer to me and says in my face, "Nothing in life is fair, we are limited to what we can do, but soon we will be limitless, restored to our glory."
He walks away and goes to a table and picks up equipment and leaves I suppose to the so-called ship. Circel walks back into the cave and says, "It's time to go young Noah." She waves her hand and the chains came off the wall and levitated and forced me to follow her. She waves her other hand and a giant rag surrounded my waist and covered me.
"Your welcome," Circel said
I was being pulled to the entrance of the cavern and from what I saw was something I have never seen before. It was like a giant lake or pond with giant waves and pure blue water. Circel said,
"Most people on this continent don't know if the ocean not many people leave this place or live near the coast."
"Coast, ocean?" I said with surprise
"The ocean is a vast space between islands or continents, your fortunate enough to be here to see it take it as my apologies."
I snarled at her and bit her on her shoulder, immediately after she punched me in the face and my nose was bleeding. I lunged over and fell to the ground, and the chains were lifted and I was put on the ship. The entire thing was made of dark burnt-looking wood and the floor was rigid and bumpy. I was chained to something that looked like a giant metal grapple.
The three of them got on the boat and the boat began moving. I sat there afraid of what could happen in the near future. But then I notice something coming in the distance it looked to be Babican. I stayed quiet and thought.
"Maybe he traced my scent."
"Why do you look so happy your about to be sacrificed." Said Magnus
I look up at him and say "Because when I get out of these chains I am going to kill you and everyone who has anything to do with this."
He looked threatened and said, "Good luck because if you're going to try to kill someone you might want to want to kill us because if you are not prepared to do so you will di-."
Babican tackled him and bit his left shoulder. Aretha rushed from a door on the boat and waves her hand and Babican was thrown into the anchor. She lifted her hand and laid it low and Babican stared whining and cramming around.
"Stop don't hurt him please!" I cried
"I won't resist just stop hurting him," I added
She continues the attack and says "You better because if you don't the mutt dies."
She throws him to me and he stops the whining and tries to stay close to me. I say, "It's OK we'll get through this boy." While patting on his head.
*Hours Later*
Circel walked out and threw two pieces of bread on the floor and said "Eat up." and walked back into the room of the ship.
The sun was dropping ever so quickly and I had no idea what I was going to do about this. My only idea was to use my power but I'm restricted right now. I'm out of options and the only choice was to do nothing.
Babican ate his bread and so did I, I didn't even know the dead could eat anything. I began to feel worried and I couldn't take it away because I'm restricted. And I started thinking about my father again and this time I let everything I hid out. This went on for some time and eventually, I had stopped. And thought this to myself, "Circel said before 2 weeks that's a long time, what if someone doesn't find me?"
I sat up and Babican did as well I comforted him and we sat there for 10 minutes and Magnus came out and said, "Noah right? You should see this as a good thing you are being sacrificed to save all the people in the world from death." I said, "Piss off bastard." He laughed and said, "You're just like your father Noah he always had a big mouth." And he walked away
I thought to myself "This is going to be a long week.
