"I can't believe you got your firebrand Sp before me it was just released!"Jenna's teammate Gina always assisted her in maintaining her bike and picking up the bets for the races. Gina wasn't that beautiful but she was tough, covered in tattoos, and knew everything there was to know about bikes.
"Yup it's gorgeous isn't it, I made sure to tell them I need it red I want everyone to see cross the finish line with this baby," Jenna said polishing the sleek red-coated bike.
It was a Thursday evening and one of the basic chestnut traditions was that there was a race and even though technically it wasn't legal it's always safe in this little town and no one missed to show up. Even the cops placed wages and Jenna won most of the races.
A short man with the most gorgeous dark hair and blue eyes walked towards them with a much taller and sturdier man on his arm." Hi girls this is Dylan he's the new mechanic. Thought he could check out your bike." the shorter man said. Jenna sized up the muscular man covered in oil stains, sweat, and dirt." Randall we need to talk. And no one touches my bike." she said taking the shorter man's dainty hand and the walked a bit further from the group."I get the need to wanna impress the new mechanic but do you have to introduce all your one-night stands to me?"Jenna asked.
"We are family and I would like for you to know everything about me." he said."Yeah you mean after you were married my mum for ten years and you knew you were into guys." she pointed out.
I should probably explain Randall was Jenna's stepdad after her father and mother divorced but he only married her to get his family off his back. Everyone but her mother knew he was gay. So when she moved from the home she moved in with him.
"Just keep him out of my way. I have a race to win." she sighed."And your still gonna hook up with that ex-boyfriend of yours aren't you?" he asked.
"Only if I win and I can't find new meat," she said and winked at him.
