The sounds of cutlery clinking along plates, laughter, and music filled the air. The night was warm, the moon and lights making the settings aglow. Aila and Damon's wedding continued with an open area for eating in the woods, entertainment like a band and other things like photo booths, and a fighting arena set up.
Aila almost rolled her eyes at the fighting arena, but it was another small sign that the pack and their ways were a part of her life. The wedding was full of old and new traditions, and she embraced it all. She did tell those wishing to fight, though they were not allowed to spill any blood or knock a tooth out.
It was the only day Aila asked for such restraint. She wanted nice photos without blood on shirts and toothless smiles across her photo album. It would be a memory and a laughable one at that. But it was a normal occurrence around here, and she wanted one day without it.
