Chapter 832 - Chapter 832 - Have We Met Before?

"Monica, really, he just saved me from those people and helped me repay my debt. I will use the best design to thank him!"

Monica's suspicion grew even more: "What can you help him design?" If he was someone who could easily help repay debts, would he still need you to do the design? Fortunately, she didn't say this out loud, otherwise, there would be one more person hurt inside.

Even so, Bernie was stung by her question, but when he thought of his design, his confidence returned a lot: "You don't know about this, do you? This big brother is my old customer. He bought a ring from me before, and his girlfriend loved it. Now he's here to ask me to design a better one for him as their wedding ring!"

"Really? That's great!" Monica seemed even happier than him. She cheered and pounced on him, jumping into his arms, and wrapping her long legs around his waist. "You're really the best, Bernie! I knew you could do it, your design is the best!"

Seeing the two embracing and kissing each other as if they couldn't bear to part, Roy felt a bit redundant. But he didn't want to leave the store just to accommodate their emotions, so he could only cough lightly to remind them of the presence of a third wheel.

The two heard the cough and immediately separated as if they had been shocked. They were so happy that they had forgotten his existence.

"Sorry, really sorry. Um." Bernie hurried over with a red face to apologize, but when he saw Roy's face after taking off his sunglasses, he suddenly froze. "Have we met before?"

"Of course you have, didn't you say he bought a ring from you before?" Monica, who was hiding behind, quietly tidied herself up, then turned around and walked over. When she saw Roy, her whole body seemed to freeze in place.

Her heart was in turmoil because she couldn't believe she had almost smashed the face of the person in front of her with a bat just now! If she had hit him, she would have regretted it to death without others having to scold her!

"R-Roy!" She pointed at the unforgettable face with all her might, trying hard to stop herself from screaming.

How could this be? How could he appear here?

Bernie looked at her strangely. "Do you know him too?"

"Of course!" Monica grabbed his arm, unable to control herself from yelling, "He's Roy!"

"Okay, now I know that my benefactor is Roy." Bernie smiled and nodded, finding her expression amusing. But after this man took off his sunglasses, his face was really handsome, wasn't it? Handsome and rich, would a man like this make others desperate?

Monica glared at him fiercely. "Roy! Hollywood's big star Roy Seasonstar. The youngest Oscar winner!"

Bernie wasn't someone who paid much attention to celebrities, so even though she said it so clearly, he only understood his identity and didn't connect him to the face. Since he was a big star, he must belong to the super-rich class. If he could help him design a wedding ring, did it mean he was going to succeed?

"I heard that hiring a celebrity to endorse something costs a lot of money?" The thought in his mind slipped out of his mouth.

Monica wished she could smash the baseball bat she had just thrown away on his head. Was it really okay to ask such a question in front of someone? But seeing those shiny eyes, she couldn't bear to hit him, so she could only whisper in his ear, "Of course, it costs a lot! A big star like him would cost at least eight figures!"

Eight figures!

Bernie's eyes almost popped out. How many diamonds could that buy? If he could have so many diamonds, he could create several times the profit, and then...

He subconsciously swallowed and stared at Roy with eyes that looked at gold.

He liked this line of work, so he knew very well that big brands were willing to design rings for such big stars. They were a living advertisement themselves. Once the ring was in their hands, it would stay with them as long as their feelings didn't break. What was the difference between this and endorsement?

And now, he was the one they found!

This kind of recognition made him ecstatic, and nothing made him happier than having his abilities acknowledged by others.

"Mr. Roy, I will design the most satisfactory ring for you!" Based on the fact that he could find him in the dark, like finding this little glowworm emitting a faint light, he would do his best to make it the best for him!

But before Roy could say anything, Monica screamed, "Ring? The ring Roy is going to give? Is it for Laila?"

"Yes." Roy glanced at her. She could think of Laila as soon as she mentioned the ring, which made him have a much better impression of her. It seemed she was a sensible girl who knew Laila was his girlfriend!

Heh heh. Unable to resist, his mouth curled up again.

Forgive this man who has been knocked unconscious by happiness. At this moment, just hearing Laila's name can fill him with happiness all over his body.

Although Monica already had a beloved boyfriend, accidentally seeing this smile made her heart beat faster. Being voted the world's sexiest man was no joke, and not many people could remain rational when they saw this face, especially when he smiled.

"I knew you two were truly in love." She sighed.

Since Roy and Laila started dating, there have been many blessings, but there have also been some objections. Some people think these two are deliberately hyping things up, while others think Roy is purposefully getting involved with Laila, and there might be some shady deals going on. Who doesn't know how rich Laila is? Marrying her is no different from marrying a gold mine!

Monica had similar thoughts before, but after seeing Roy's smile just now, she no longer thought so. If a man could smile like that when he thought of her, she would marry him without hesitation!

Thinking of this, she glared at Bernie with a look of grievance. Bernie was puzzled, not knowing why he had offended her again.

Since he had decided to move forward, he decided to first understand the relevant situation. While Monica helped clean up the messy store, he invited Roy upstairs to the place where he and his mother used to live. After his mother moved to the nursing home, it became his own private space. There was a small study there, which was perfect for quietly discussing the ring.

"Mr. Roy, I am very grateful for your support of my design, but there is one thing I have to clarify first." Bernie was a little embarrassed, but he still had to say what he had to say, so as not to be even more embarrassed later.

Roy made a gesture for him to continue: "You go on."
