Chapter 363 - Chapter 363 - A Small Request

"Miss, if you keep smashing things, this hotel won't have a place for you to stay. Don't forget what Master said. If you leave this hotel, you'll lose your allowance, and I believe you wouldn't want to stay in those rough and simple rooms downstairs," Faaris's voice was calm, but his grip was strong as he took the object from Faiza's hand and placed it back where it belonged.

Faiza glared at him with resentment and sat down on the nearby sofa. "Why is it like this? What does her movie have that ours doesn't? Why is she still making money while we're suffering losses because our film was taken off?"

"Miss, I must remind you that Hollywood is not a simple place. Indeed, we excel in various aspects compared to that young lady, but her greatest advantage is herself. She's a genius, one of the top talents in Hollywood and even in the entire United States. She has already set numerous records, so what's happening now is not unexpected," Faaris replied.

Faaris was also frustrated with the current situation. Nobody wanted to be a mocked failure, but it wasn't that they hadn't done their best; it was just that their opponent was exceptionally strong.

"Perhaps simultaneous release was a wrong competitive strategy from the start," he couldn't help but think. If they had not let the young lady stubbornly insist on simultaneous release but had staggered the release dates, maybe they wouldn't have been so severely suppressed.

Faiza, upon hearing this, got angry, "If we didn't release simultaneously, how could we have squeezed her box office space?"

Faaris sneered, "Miss, I think I must remind you that right now, it's us who are being squeezed!"

"I don't need you to remind me!" Faiza angrily considered smashing something again, but she withdrew her hand when she saw Faaris's cold and piercing gaze. "What do we do now? Are we just going to let her be so arrogant? I wanted the prince to see her pathetic failure, but now, the pathetic one is me! I can't stand it!"

"Miss, we still have a chance. The prince has been sent to the company for training, and he won't be able to return to the United States for a year or two. As long as you make her fail during this time, it will be enough."

After this experience, Faaris had come to realize that they couldn't defeat the director with just investment; it was a matter of skill and vision. The young lady, who had grown up in a noble family and was like a pampered pet, was no match for a fierce wild beast surviving in the wilderness.

Suddenly, Faiza remembered what she had been busy with recently and perked up, "You're right! Pearl Harbor! We still have Pearl Harbor! I've read the script, and it's an outstanding story, much grander than that action movie. Michael Bay even explained his vision to me, and I think we're a great match. We can surpass Titanic's box office! She might be talented, but has any of her movies ever made over 400 million? I don't believe a pirate theme that's so bad no one dares to make it can earn billions!"

Faaris nodded slightly, "You're right, Miss. This director should be very reliable. Besides, in terms of the script, I hope you won't get involved this time."

"What do you mean? Do you think our previous failure was because I had them modify the script according to my wishes?" Faiza jumped up as if her tail had been stepped on. "If they had modified the script according to my suggestions, adding more elements of romance, it definitely wouldn't have turned out this bad! Why do you think Titanic was successful? It's because it didn't just tell the story of the ship; it touched the hearts of thousands with its beautiful love story!"

Faaris raised an eyebrow unexpectedly. He hadn't expected her to speak so sensibly. Although he wasn't very knowledgeable about movies, he understood the validity of her point. Titanic had swept the globe last year, and the reason why so many people, men and women alike, had watched it repeatedly was indeed the love story within it. Otherwise, who would be willing to spend over two hours watching a ship sink?

"All right, Miss. However, I still hope we can do this professionally. How about we bring in some of the best Hollywood screenwriters and add the elements you desire?" He said it while having some doubts about Americans in his heart. In his mind, Americans were people who would sell anything for money.

"Fine! Get the best ones! I don't believe that we can't make a movie that can beat her with money. If one hundred million isn't enough, make it two hundred million. If two hundred million isn't enough, make it three hundred million! I have my father's support, and as long as you handle things well, that's all that matters!" Faiza had no concept of money; it was just a few hundred million dollars, and she could easily obtain it by saying a few words to her father.

"I understand," Faaris responded with a neutral expression. Although she didn't mind losses, he did. He had never engaged in activities that led to losses before. Failure was a stain on his record, one he couldn't forgive. So he needed to erase those stains with even more impressive achievements.

Faiza walked a few steps around the room, biting her lip in an expression of frustration. "No! Faaris, I have a grudge against her. I don't want her to continue enjoying herself. You must have a way to deal with her, right? Even if we can't physically harm her, I want to make her feel uncomfortable and disgusted, to the point of extreme discomfort!"

Frowning, Faaris couldn't refuse her this "small request." "I understand, Miss. You will see results soon."

Faiza didn't hesitate and immediately instructed her maid to pack her bags. She was ready to return to Saudi Arabia.

Kidding! If she stayed here and fought with that woman while another woman took the prince away, she would be furious. Faaris was right; she had to go back and guard the prince!

"Arrange for the family plane to pick me up as soon as possible. As for matters here, I leave them to you. Even if I'm not here, you must ensure that you fulfill your promises to me, understood? Otherwise, I don't mind having my father permanently abandon you in the most remote place!" Faiza threatened with arrogance.

Faaris lowered his head, acknowledging her haughty command. As long as she returned, what harm could a harmless prank do to that director?

"Don't worry, Miss. You will soon see the results."
