Chapter 189 - Chapter 189 - Tyrant

In fact, with Laila's ability, it would be as easy as saying a word to bring his brother to Hollywood. But she knew that things obtained too easily were often not cherished, so she wanted Roy to use his abilities in exchange for a better life for his brother.

She would never admit that she had forgotten to bring his brother earlier...

It wasn't entirely her fault. One thing after another kept happening, and even when there was no trouble, Roy could always manage to create some for her. How could she find the time to remember Roy's little brother far away in a foreign land?

Bringing him here this time would be good. Roy was already an adult, so hopefully, while supporting his brother, he would think a bit more before acting and avoid causing a heap of trouble.

A good night's sleep. Early the next morning, under Laila's guidance, the Victoria's Secret girls went to the theme park for work.

To her somewhat surprised and unsurprised, just like in history, Leonardo and Gisele were walking together, fingers intertwined, occasionally leaning in close to chat, looking very affectionate.

Laila didn't fail to understand the great charm that young Leo possessed, especially at a time when the Titanic fever had not completely subsided. However, thinking about the future, she couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Gisele.

Currently, the theme park was temporarily divided into four zones.

Starting from Laila's shooting sequence, the first was the scenes from "Blair Witch," including the cemetery, the messy forest, and some of the locations from the movie. Of course, these weren't the same ones used initially, as the theme park plan didn't exist at that time. They were recreated from the movie when the park's construction began.

The second area was the "SAW" zone, which was specifically set up for photography. After its opening, some adjustments were made to make the scenes identical to those in the movie. They even added some lifelike fake corpses and fake blood. Various traps from the movie were visitors' favorite parts, and almost everyone who came there would take photos in front of their preferred trap.

The third zone was for Laila's new film, "Final Destination." To set the atmosphere, they even scattered airplane wreckage in a space within it. Burnt debris was scattered around, creating the illusion of an actual plane crash.

The final zone was a comprehensive area located in the center, featuring themed restaurants, snacks, souvenirs, hotels, and other facilities. Especially popular was the recently introduced horror-themed meal, making this place a haven for horror movie enthusiasts.

Now, under Laila's request, a new area was under development. Fortunately, the land she had bought was quite large, so even after shooting a few more movies, they could fit all the scenes into the park.

To avoid alarming visitors, Laila led her team through the employee entrance.

The last two films she made were shot here, so her understanding of these two zones was no less than that of any employee.

"We'll start with the Blair Witch Zone," she said, holding up a map for everyone to see. "We'll follow this path to cover all three zones. I'll have someone isolate the areas we shoot in, so there might be some waiting."

"We'll follow your instructions," the models chimed in with cheerful smiles.

While waiting, they instinctively tidied up their attire and appearances.

This was a good habit. As "beauty" ambassadors, their existence was meant to showcase their beauty to the world. Being messy or disheveled was not acceptable! Moreover, with Hollywood's prominent director and two popular movie stars present, how could they not pay attention to their image? Although one of them had already been captivated by Gisele, what about the other?

The Blair Witch Zone occupied the largest area of all the zones, mainly due to the messy small forest it featured. The forest was not the original one used for filming, but all the necessary set pieces were present. Most importantly, Laila added some elements that were not in the movie, such as scattered broken dolls among the trees.

Some were nestled in the branches, while others were hidden among the rocky crevices. You might suddenly catch sight of a pair of lifeless eyes staring unblinkingly at you. By the time you realized they were just dolls, your hair would already be standing on end.

Laila's idea this time was to combine the alluring female figures with the eerie settings, creating a visually impactful shock.

After sealing off the forest area, Heidi walked over in a bathrobe.

Laila first instructed her staff to clean up the surroundings to prevent any bugs or similar issues. Then, she pointed to a sturdy, mottled tree trunk and said to Heidi, "You'll lean against this tree later. Try to arch your body slightly, like a crescent moon."

"Sure thing," Heidi replied playfully and blew Laila a kiss before removing her bathrobe, revealing her beautiful body adorned with sexy Victoria's Secret lingerie.

Roy and Leonardo whistled and cheered from the sidelines, which earned them a stern glare from Laila. But those two were not easily scared off by her gaze; they simply stopped their playful banter, turning into whispers and exchanged glances. From their furtive looks at the other models, it was clear what they were discussing.

"That rascal!" Laila mentally scolded Roy for the hundredth time. If not for Leonardo's presence, she would have thrown him out. But now... she had to let him save some face in front of others.

With everything prepared, Laila finally began her work. Once she entered work mode, she became completely different. Everyone had to operate according to her commands. If someone didn't perform well, she wouldn't scold them; she would simply replace them. Being replaced was often more painful than being scolded, and people would rather endure her scolding than risk having their job taken over by someone else. Thus, each person followed her instructions more diligently than usual.

Roy, who was accustomed to Laila's working style, didn't pay it much mind. He was used to her battlefield-like work ethic. Leonardo, on the other hand, was witnessing it for the first time. Growing up in various environments, he understood better the somewhat "eccentric" atmosphere of their work.

"This is quite an efficient team," he exclaimed. He had taken promotional photos before, but he had never seen such a tightly coordinated way of working. He dared to guarantee that the first day was not like this.

"What's going on? Tell me!" Leonardo's interest was piqued.

Roy tilted his chin toward the direction of Laila and smirked, "That's because we have a tyrant here."

"Is that so?" Leonardo looked at Laila, puzzled. He observed her directing the models' movements and said, "I can't see that at all."

"That's because you're not her subordinate. Wait until you work with her on one of her films, then you'll understand."

Leonardo was skeptical. "Is this 'tyrant' even more formidable than James Cameron?" He knew Cameron was famously tough; making Titanic must have been an arduous endeavor.

While Roy didn't know how tyrannical Cameron was, he had heard enough rumors to know that they were completely different types.
