"Hey, Karusu. What sort of things do you like?"
"Hm?" we were strolling through a small arcade street, the wind on our back just slightly. Torabe asked an odd and vague question.
"I mean, as like a gift or something. What sort of things would you like?"
"Why are you asking me? Have someone you want to give a present to?"
"I guess it's something like that…anyways, just tell me."
His slightly stern voice pressed on me relentlessly, I wasn't sure how to give an appropriate answer that would satisfy him. By the time I had thought of something, he was practically hovering over top of me.
"Wouldn't something like flowers, or chocolate, or something like that is good enough?"
Torabe gave a disappointed sigh, "of course not, something like that would only be appropriate on dates or something, plus there's no real meaning behind it."
"Really? Seems meaningful enough to me…"
Torabe seemed to hesitate on something, before yelling at me to forget about him asking. Of course, I wasn't going to do that.
Torabe has never seemed to be the romantic type of guy, but perhaps the changing of his heart came with something being introduced to his life. Part of me wanted to pry him on it and find out just who this "special someone" actually was.
Although I knew that if I were to try and leak him of his personal life, then he'd either get pissed or annoyed with me. So, I held myself back from asking anything.
