As Tara moved in the lake further and further, the other shore disappeared completely; she was now in the black Magma Lake in the cooling state, but there was still a red stream of magma in the lake and the Rock turtle was passing though that stream. The path was so predictable and filled with danger and it was surprisingly similar to the ravine of 'Snake Mountain', as if the magma was filled in the ravine. Rock Turtle was submerged in the magma and his shell was above the lake on which Tara was sitting. Magma Lake was few hundred kilometre wide and was few thousand kilometre long , as such it would definitely take time for her to cross the lake.
Tara was strangely calm tonight; she had already broken through 8th level of 'Tempered Body Realm'. Glittering stars in the above sky and boiling Magma below gave her distinct appearance. Suddenly, Rock turtle talked with her in 'Telepathy' and said, "lass do you want to know the story of this Magma Lake?" Rock Turtle didn't bothered with Tara, that if she wanted to listen his story, he continued to amuse himself and said, "Once upon a time, there was a war in between a 'True God' and a 'Heavenly Beast' and the winner was 'True God'. The war shook the 'Vermillion Bird Starfield' and that 'True God' was gravely injured during that fight and his blood dropped on the planet 'Yan' of this region and his blood became Magma Lake. This blood of True God later gave life to many species in this Magma Lake and that god was called 'Flame Yang Emperor'. He came from God's domain for some work in the lower world, but he was attacked by the Venerable God of Beast, called 'Tyrant Qilin'; that bastard actually ate the daughter of 'Flame Yang Emperor'- Yang Shikha to increase his cultivation. But, immediately 'Flame Yang Emperor' got aware of this and tore the space by paying heavy price for his life due to going against the Great Dao. The battle was tit for tat and throat to throat, which made great thunders and echoes in the starfield. Actually, Yang Shikha had a body of 'Pure Medicine Body' and she had came here for practice in the lower world, but the enemies got the information and 'Tyrant Qilin' suddenly came to lower world through his clone; he attacked 'Yang Shikha', as her life was in danger, her life talisman activated. 'Yang Flame Emperor' immediately appeared through space by risking is life. As there were restrictions on his body due to 'Great Dao', therefore he had to struggle to subdue the clone of 'Tyrant Qilin'; 'Yang Flame Emperor' tore the body of 'Tyrant Qilin' and took out Yang Shikha from her perilous situation. After which 'Yang Flame Emperor' disappeared into thin air with his daughter by dropping his blood on this planet and from that point nobody knows where they vanished."
After hearing such a story, only word that came out of her mouth was, "Amitabha" and later said, "I pray for their wellness". Rock Turtle laughed and said, "khe-khe-khe, this world is full of wonders. If your heart is tough, then how much the suffering you bear, it doesn't matter, you are bound to reach your Destiny." He also said, "lass, I am travelling with my fastest speed, but as I can see, we will only reach by tomorrow morning."
Tara said, " Rock Turtle, please travel steady and don't over-work yourself, I need you to cross this lake." Rock Turtle said, "lass, don't worry, I will try my best. Would you like to know more about interesting facts of this Magma Lake ?" Rock Turtle waited this time for her reply and this time Tara replied, "please do so Mr. Rock Turtle." Rock Turtle was very happy to listen her reply, then he said, "Do you know that this Magma Lake has magma all over her body, but still, there is only one energy core in the center of Magma Lake ? It is such a place from were magma lake operate, if you could practice in that core then your cultivation will grow by leaps and bounds; you will gain great strength in a short time, so what do you say? Would you like to go that place and observe yourself that, it is beneficial to you or not?
Tara heard him and said, "and why are you telling me this? Can't you go over there and cultivate by yourself or is there any other thing which is troubling you or that place is lurking with dangers? Rock Turtle remained silent for few moments and then said, "If I deny that, there are no dangers in there, then it would be wrong of me to misguide a child to enter in the mouth of dangers! Then let me tell you, I was born in this Magma Lake, but I can't leave this Magma Lake due to my monster form, because I can only obtain my human form when I reach 'Nascent Soul Stage' and now I am only peak 'Core Formation Stage'. There is a flower in the underground cave of energy core, called 'Yang Flower'; after consuming it, I can reach to 'Early Nascent Soul Stage' and reform my monster body into human form body. Then, I can freely leave this Magma Lake and roam around the world while continuing my path of cultivation and the danger I mentioned is that, in that underground cave, only a person with pure heart can enter."
Hearing this Tara said, "Do you believe my heart is pure ? and if my heart is not pure while entering, then what will happen to me ?" Rock Turtle while holding his breath said, "You will die burning alive and your soul will not be able to enter in reincarnation!" Hearing this Tara's eyes remain wide open due to shock and her expressions were of shocked; Rock Turtle further said, " Tara, I know, this is very dangerous for you, but I also think that you are the right person to enter the underground cave. I have waited 350 years for the right person to arrive here, because I was not able to pass the barrier of underground cave and was repelled every time, I tried to enter; thus, I have made my bet on you. Tara, do you think Old Orc just help you, because you were a small little girl, is it ? Definitely No, we monsters are sensitive towards humans and we can sense if any human has any ill intentions towards us. So, Old Orc definitely would have recognized you, that you didn't had any ill intentions towards the Orc Village and I also that is the same too!"
Tara, if you could help me this time, than I am ready to form a beast contract with you and serve you as my master for my whole life." Tara heard him silently and felt his emotions and even felt that he was willing to bet his life for the cause, then there was no reason for her to not bet her life on the line. She said, "All right Rock Turtle, you will be my first contract beast in the world, then you be prepared; our journey is very long, we are not going to lay forever in this small world. So, be prepared and now take me to the center of this Magma Lake. As soon as Rock Turtle heard her, he felt relieved and said , "ok, little lass, be prepared we are going at full speed; so hold tight.
Rock Turtle suddenly started to transform and as his rock shell had layers upon layers inside; so, the first layer and he told Tara that, "lass, my body has transformed into lotus form, now enter in the center and I will enclose you inside and we will dive through this magma by taking shortcut and you will not be harmed by the magma." Thus, Tara entered the lotus body arrangement of Rock Turtle and it immediately dive into the depth of magma. As Tara could see from inside, due to being connected with Telepathic Vision with Rock Turtle; Magma appeared all over the area- inside the magma lake, she could not see anything much beside magma path, but there were few other monsters which were seen due to their habitat being in the depth of Magma Lake.
After two hours, Tara suddenly heard with Telepathy that, "Tara, we have come in front of the underground cave . There is a spatial portal in front of us, I will open lotus form arrangement and create Spirit qi barrier coat on your body, so that you would not be harmed and with this barrier coat you could try to enter this underground cave ; moreover, if you are the right candidate the spatial portal will directly pull you inside. So, be prepared I am beginning." As the formation changed, Tara stood up while consolidating her determination and said to Rock Turtle, "Alright, lets do it!"
