Manuel's brows rose up high, his curiosity spiking, but in the end, he just let an amused smile cover his face. He had expected Michael to lash out. That was, after all, his reason for mounting so much pressure on his mind. Usually, one would either break, or lash out in order to avoid succumbing to the pressure. But Michael did none of those. That meant his mind was strong. Very strong.
"You say your name is Michael, hm? My name is Manuel, and I hope we can have a talk." Manuel spoke to Michael as he looked him in the eyes. He could tell that Michael was wary of him and knew that he was strong. What he did not know was that Michael even knew the extent of his strength.
