Davon gasped while a shudder ran through Mildred and she leaned even further into the couch, wishing she could enter it.
Persephone's chest was rising and falling with deep breaths, probably because of what she just said, while Mordecai's expression looked stoic as usual. He was definitely shocked that she had called him a psychopath and a tyrant but he absolutely wasn't going to show it because he felt that if he did, his other siblings would agree with her.
