Liviana's POV
"It's beautiful." I looked over my shoulder to see Colten. He sat beside me as we both looked at the amazing view before us. "It's the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen, Lili." He said while his eyes are twinkling in amusement.
"You love coming here, don't you?" I asked.
He nodded while smiling. "It's because our parents are here." He said as he stares at our parents' tomb. I gulped as I diverted my gaze away from him. It hurts me every time he mentions about parents. I felt guilty for erasing and faking his memories. "What's the matter?" He suddenly asked.
I looked at him while smiling. "Nothing, handsome." I said, and he giggled.
"Aren't you longing for your mate?" He asked. I was taken aback by his question. "You supposed to find your mate around your age, right?"
"I'm not looking for a mate." I said as I chuckled. "Alexander is way older than me, but he hasn't found his mate." I explained. "Age doesn't matter when it comes to your mate, Colten." I advise.
