As Michael leaned against the reception desk he was well aware he was being assessed by Rachel and Lucy. He continued to smile and took a step closer to April as he placed his arm around her shoulder. Although he was proud of how well she had spoken out he knew it would take it out of her to continue to spar with the two idiots that stood in front of them.
April then returned the greeting, "Morning Michael. Did you just arrive?"
I arrived some time ago, "I didn't know today was trash day and here you are left trying to take it out by yourself." He lightly patted her head.
April smiled, Michael was calling Racheal and Lucy trash yet they both continued to smile at him because he had money and influence within the company. They indeed had no shame.
