"That's a dumbass plan!" Quaesitor yelled at Cari.
"Anything better?" Cari asked him along with the whole room.
...
"Alright then shut the fuck up." Cari flicked off Quaesitor.
"I don't this will work on a monster like him but hell it's worth a shot." Neash looked ready.
"Alright then let's start."
The team left the building then headed for Kego. The rain didn't let up. The smell of blood was in the air. And Kego sat on the stairs of his guild waiting with Vindicta.
"They're finally coming." Vindicta rocked back and forth while singing.
"...Yeah." Kego's eyes were glowing.
The sky had become so dark no light go through the clouds. No animal sounds could be heard. Just the sound of rain.
Years ago...
Neash pouted, "It's raining today. I really wanted to play with Kego though." Suddenly Neash heard a knock on her day.
She got up and looked at who it was.
"Kego? What are you doing in the rain? Come insi-"
"Why are you not in the rain!" Kego smiled. "Come play in the rain with me!" He grabbed Neash's hand and pulled her outside.
"Have fun." Her dad told her.
He held on to her hand and danced with her on the muddy ground as rain pored hard. They both smiled as they ignored everything in the world and had fun in that moment that was so sporadic and didn't have much of a meaning to it.
A moment where race did not matter. Or class. It was simple.
Kego snapped out of his memory and returned back to the present. And standing in front of him on the stone brick road that led to his guild hall was Hivor and Neash.
Kego looked up at Neash with is glowing eyes.
And Neash stared back with her glowing eyes.
"You followed through with the promise. I would have never thought those met anything to you." Kego broke the silence.
"You say that like you're not a monster." Both their words were filled with hate.
"You betray me!" Kego road and rose to his feet.
Neash's face wrinkled with irritation "HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK THINK THAT!?" Neash screamed so hard her stomach curled.
"You...you murdered my grandpa for no reason...you will pay for that." When Kego said that all the rain around them stopped in mid air.
"What is this?" Hivor looked concerned.
"Now." Angel whispered to Leslie then they put two big waterballs and fireballs together making a thick steam that almost immediately surrounded the whole guild building. Attacks started flying at Kego and Vindicta! Vindicta came flying out of the mist above it.
"There's another person!?" Cari panicked!
"Shit!" Avery stood next to him.
"Found ya!" Vindicta yelled then kicked off the air at Avery and Cari!
"Run!" Cari yelled to Avery then was snatched away!
"HAHAHA!" Vindicta laugh sounded like something from hell!
She smashed him through dozens of trees! Cari reached up and grabbed Vindicta by her hair and pulled! Then put his foot on her stomach and flipped her into a building then he kicked away.
He coughed from how hard she grabbed him by the neck.
"Hello again." Vindicta smiled has she walked out the build that fell apart right when she got out.
"Fucking top tier actor." Cari laughed.
"Oh you mean when I was acting weak?" She put her finger on her chin "I guess I did play my part well." She smiled big.
"OOO. You're kinda crazy." This dude Cari really being thirsty right now.
"You're odd." She tiled her head.
"And you're sexy ass hell. We should hook up someti-" She sent a slash of light from her hand that almost cut off Cari's head but he ducked.
"Is that a yes?" Cari grinned.
"You're far too weak to be with somebody like me." Suddenly she was standing behind Cari. "I'll have fun destroying that spirit of yours."
Meanwhile...
Hivor had grabbed Neash and retreated when things hit the fan.
He zoomed through the forest but time felt like it slowed down when Kego fell next to his side with his bloodlust spiked!
"Shi-" Hivor's thought was cut off with a punched to the face making him let go Neash and sending through the forest!
Neash fell to the ground and bounced back up and Kego was standing right in front of her.
He grabs her by the neck on holds her in the air! Julieta came flying up from the side and tried to cut his arm but he caught her blade! Leslie shot a arrow from behind him but he swiped it away with tail!
"Laminae Animae." Julieta released her power! Kego quickly let go of her blade and jumped back letting go of Neash!
"Are you ok?" Julieta asked Neash.
"Yeah." She pulled herself to her feet.
"..." Kego look at his cut wrist.
"Emotionless Mercy. You're as powerful as the rumors say." Kego's wrist began to heal.
The rest of the group came into the clearing created by Kego. Besides Cari and Hivor, Kego was completely surrounded.
"You're at a disadvantage." Kego shoots a fire spike at Tex!
Julieta made it in time to block it. But within that time Kego was grabbing angel by his arm and launching him into Avery smashing both of their skulls!
Julieta rushed Kego, He fired a lava lightning bolt at her and she put up her sword to block but the it fazed right through her and struck Tex right behind her!
"Run!" Julieta told them all!
They tried but a green barrier suddenly surrounded them!
"...Reality is crushing isn't it? Your friends that so badly just want to help you are holding you back. The saddest part is no matter how hard the try the could never manged to hurt me. They're Qompo isn't high enough." Kego grinned.
This was the truth. Without being strong enough all of them were just burdens to Julieta. He could just pick the weak off like flies.
Meanwhile...
"O-oh shit this hurts." Cari coughed up blood as he leaned against a tree. Most of his bones were broke and he had cuts all over.
Vindicta raised Cari's chin up with her foot. "Where's that hope you just had?" She teased.
"Probably in your big ass head-" She stomps on Cari's chest mid sentence.
"Do you want to die?" She twist her foot while pushing down on Cari's chest.
"N-no. Especially to a girl with a just barely average ass-" She stomps Cari's chest even harder.
"You are so irritating!" She stomps Cari's head into the tree and chops in half.
"No he's right." A voice agrees as a lightning wind blast knocks her away from Cari.
"Right in time Hivor." Cari grins.
"Good thing that guy punched me this way" Hivor thought to himself.
"You look much stronger then him. Are you going to fight me?" She asked Hivor.
"I don't really want to. I just came here to save him." Hivor picked up Cari then dashed away.
"...I wasn't expecting him to be able to run away that fast." Vindicta just stood there looking dumb.
Hivor rushed Cari to a building and laid him down.
"I'm not really good at it but I can heal you." A light cast out of Hivor's hand over Cari.
"Thanks."
Meanwhile...
Kego had picked off all the leather jacket guys. All that remained was Quaesitor, Julieta, Osdy, Leslie, Neash, and, Sors.
"What are we going to do? We can't keep going like this." Quaesitor told the group.
But there was no answers.
All they could do was stand close to each other.
"Their is nothing you can do." Kego told them. "You can't protect them forever. Using that ability like that must take a toll at a point. All I have to do is wait."
"I can hold out like this for another 30 minutes." Julieta thought to herself.
Kego just sat down a waited.
15 minutes later, back with Cari and Hivor.
" have a plan." Cari put his hand on Hivor's and stopped him from healing him.
"What is it?" Hivor's eyes widen.
"I need you to punch me as hard as you can." Cari told him with a straight face.
"Ok." Hivor didn't think. Cari stood up and so did Hivor.
"Do it-" Cari was cut off by the hardest punch he had ever felt! A upper cut to the gut. He didn't go flying but the roof along with the walls behind Cari were completely gone.
Cari dropped to the floor and spit out tons off blood.
"A-alright hurry and heal me for a bit." He was barely able to speak.
Hivor got to it, "Now is probably a good time to ask why I just did that." fretted Hivor.
"You'll see...do you think you could hold that girl in one spot for me?" Cari asked, just barely alive at this point.
Hivor nodded, "Yeah. I'm sure I can but not for long."
"Don't worry, with that speed i'll make it in time." Cari stopped talking after he said that cause it hurt.
The sound of the rain filled the silence. Everywhere right now seemed to be silent.
Just the rain made sound. It stayed like this for 13 minutes.
"Alright. I'm good enough now." Cari told Hivor. He sat up and looked over and saw Vindicta standing on a roof staring with her glowing mint green eyes.
"Looks like we don't have to go find her." Hivor help Cari up then they made there way to the roof Vindicta was standing on.
"So you two are really going to fight me? I don't see how you are going to make any difference." Vindicta pointed at Cari.
"Shut up whore." Cari taunted her as he flicked her off.
"I hate you so much!" Vindicta rushed at Cari but Hivor jumped in front of her and stopped her with a straight right that she blocked then grabbed Hivor's arm and pulled him out the way to get to Cari! Hivor hurried up and grabbed her by her tail that was sticking out!
"Uuuh!" ...She moaned.
When she did that they all just stood there for a second.
"Hivor...I think you made her moan." Cari was in shock.
"That's like the first time I've ever made a girl do that..." Hivor looked proud of himself!
"Good job buddy!" Cari gave him a thumbs up.
"Let go of my tail you creep!!" Vindicta turns around and grabs Hivor by the neck!
Hivor takes this opportunity to hurry up and hug her close and tight!
"What are you doin creep! Let go-" Her screams we're soon stop when suddenly Cari's fist dug into her back...it was weird. You would thing there would be a lot of sound from that punch. But there was none. All the clouds in the sky just suddenly disbursed. All the rain around the school just evaporated. It all happen so fast if you blinked you missed it.
Vindicta body was stiff, then when Cari pulled his fist off the middle her back...she went completely limp. Her eyes had no light. Her heart...was not beating.
Suddenly a maid appeared! and snatched her right out of Hivor's arms.
"...Maybe hitting her with 10 times the power of Hivor's punch was not a good idea." Cari thought to himself.
"M-man...I didn't know you could do that." Hivor smiled while his guts hung out and blood poured from his eyes.
Cari's eyes widen, "Oh shit!" Cari caught Hivor as he fell backwards. "Bro I'm so sorry! I did not know your punch boosted that much would-"
"Shhh. It's fine." Hivor spoke with his eye closed. "I made a girl moan today. Then you blew her back out...what a crazy...day." Hivor passed out in Cari's arms. The sun shined down on Hivor.
"You desperate son of a bitch you did good." Cari laid him down gently then left. "Your sacrifice shall not be forgot my pervert hero."
"I don't know how I should feel about this right now." Veritas was disappointed and a lot more things.
Meanwhile...
"I'm almost out of time." Julieta thought in a panic. "If we want to win. You guys might be hurt. Are you all willing to do that?" Julieta asked the group.
"If that's all we got." Leslie got her bow ready.
The rest of the group nodded agreeing with Leslie.
"Alright." Julieta's eyes started glowing.
She suddenly rushed Kego! Kego caught of guard was cut on his stomach but manged to jump away! Sors came up on Kego's side and tried to attack but he grabbed her by the hair and raised her up in front of Julieta's strike. Julieta was going to stop but she remembered that they said they were willing to get hurt. So she ran her sword right through Sors with no mercy and chopped a few of Kego's fingers off!
"That's what you get for touching her!" Quaesitor roared and punched Kego in the ribs but he didn't even budge him. He just looked at Quaesitor with his glowing eyes then front kicked him in the face almost braking Quaesitor's neck! Leslie and Osdy charged up all the power the had and fired it at Kego! Kego looked at the blast off energy then just jumped out of the way. Julieta predicted where he was going to land and was waiting there for him and slashed him on his back! But when Julieta looked over Leslie and Osdy had been tookin out by a return strike Kego did right before he dodged Leslie and Osdy's attack.
"I don't have much time." Julieta was trying to finish it quickly.
"Yo." Cari waved as he walked inside the barrier.
"...How did you-" Kego was cut off by Julieta cutting his leg as he jumped away.
"Cari. I don't have much time left before I'm at my limit. Neash can't really help in this fight. And I don't think you can-"
"Shut up." Cari cut her off. "I have a plan. Just slow him down."
"...Alright." Julieta shut right the fuck up. Then she rushed at Kego with with bit of time she had faster then ever before and cut Hivor's legs! He kept trying to stay away but she kept cutting his legs!
"I don't know what her second ability is but even when I dodge I get cut! I just got to avoid for a little longer." Kego thought to himself.
Julieta put all her strength into one last swing! ...But she ran out of time.
Kego grinned, "This is for cutting me!" Kego punched Julieta in the stomach so hard she spit up blood...then blood came shooting out off every part of her body. Turning her clothes red.
Cari ran up behind Kego and tried to punch him but Kego spear head struck Cari in his chest!
"...Got you!" Cari grabbed his arm...then his eyes started glowing black! He punched Kego with the punch he got from Hivor and sent it right into Kego's chest!
There was a moment of silence.
Then Kego spit up blood and fell to one knee.
"It's all on you Neash." And Cari passed out.
Kego stood up. Badly damaged from that punch. And looked at Neash.
And Neash stared back. The sun shined. You could her animals again. The smell of blood to soaked the air. And a rainbow touched the sky. The war had lasted all night.
Neash started walked towards Kego and Kego walked at her. She pulled out her staff as they speed up! Then when she got close she swings down and tries to hit Kego's neck but Kego blocks then tried to punch her, she dodges to the left and kicked Kego in the stomach! He grabs her leg and swings her into the barrier and her back smashes into it and fell to the ground!
The wind was knocked out of her for a second but she rushed right back Kego! Kego pulled out his staff and blocked her next attack barely with just the one hand that had fingers. She quickly spun and smacked Kego in the head with her staff! She reached and snatch Kego's staff from him while he was dazed! But Kego recovered quickly and knocked her head loose with a right hook making her drop both the staffs. Then Kego tackled her to the ground and landed on top of her.
"You took everything from me!" Kego punches her in the face. "I never did anything to you!" He punches her again. "You were the very first to accepted me and for what!?" And again. "Was all just so you could do this to me!?"
Neash catches him slipping and punches him, "No!" Then she flips him over and lands on top. "I put all my trust in you!" Her fist pound on his bloody face. "You did this to me!" Again. "I!" Again. "I~!" And Again "Loved you!" Tears started running down her face while punching him again.
"I loved you!" He yells back.
"Then why..." Her punch was more soft and didn't even feel like a punch.
"Why did you betray me?" They both asked at the same time.
The barrier shattered into little rainbow light partials. The wind gently blew moving the grass softly a calmly. The sound of the leafs blowing was peaceful.
"That day you change. You led me into a building and used some potion and overpowered me. You forced yourself on me...It hurt so much. All my love just turned into hate." She hicked while talk, her tears flowing more heavy now.
"I never did that!" Kego yells back, "When I found you laying there I tried to help you but you screamed! And said did things to you I would never!"
"It was you! I saw you!" She argues.
"Would you two shut the fuck up?" Cari struggles from the ground.
They both looked at Cari.
a few minutes earlier inside of Cari's head.
"Where am I?" Cari was at a fountain in a park that looked heavenly with some beautiful colored swan in a pawn.
"Oh you're here." A woman appeared next to Cari. Cari looked over and seen a 6 foot brown skin woman. She had crown braid purple and gold-yellowish hair. And Her eye where purple and gold.
She was so beautiful Cari got distracted by her looks, "Who Are you?" Cari asked trying not to drool.
She laughs a bit then says, "It's me, Veritas"
"Oh! This what you look like? Before you kind just looked like a big ass stone woman. Now you're a tall ass sexy woman." Cari didn't mean to say that.
She chuckles behind her hand, "Look there is something I need to tell you. For some reason I have recovered some of my power. If you weren't in the middle of a fight somebody would have noticed your eyes started to glow for a second."
"They did? That must've look cool." Cari bragged.
"With that being said. I can now tell when people are telling the truth. Before I could just read minds but I don't have all my power back yet. Before I fell from grace I was the goddess of truth." She tried to sound cool.
"That sounds pretty badass!" Cari was pulled into the flex.
"I kno-" She stopped and smiled "Looks like you're waking up. Talk to you face to face again later." She waved as everything turned dark.
Then Cari woke up which leads us to now.
"Kego. That's your name right? Neash this bitch Kego's telling the truth." Cari huffed.
"W-what!? How would you know!?" Neash was in disbelief.
Cari sighed "You wouldn't believed me if I told you. But you need to stop holding your problems against him because what he said was truth!"
"So are you saying I'm crazy!?" She got off Kego.
"No! You where assaulted! But it was not by him." Cari was struggling to stay awake.
"Then who!?" She screamed.
"I don't know bitch! Think! Maybe use that big ass head! Over here yelling at me and shit like you don't got no fucking manners you racist dirt knee whore!" Cari huffed and puffed.
"How can I even trust your words!" Neash didn't know what to think.
"I put this on everything. Rather you take my word or not is up to you."
"Screw your word. I'm ending this." Neash turned to Kego who could not even get up to defend himself because that punch Cari gave him mainly.
"...Everybody. I'm sorry. I failed. I just wanted to be strong so we would never have to suffer. So we could be happy. Grandpa...Why is life simple? I still don't get it." Kego thought to himself. And remembered the night everything went to shit.
"I'm hungry. Let's get something to eat." Neash told Kego.
"Yeah let's go." They walked and talked smiling the whole way.
When they got there. The leader of the village son, Dreeg who used to hang out with the guys who used to bully Neash, was there severing food just to help, out. After the food and drink, Neash said she didn't feel well so she left early.
Kego tried to walk her home but she said "I can do it." And smiled and left.
After that...
It was said Kego drugged her when him and her were having food then did the fucked up shit later.
