Richard and Cari stepped up onto the stone arena.
Cari stretched a little bit "It's been a little while since we've spared." Then smiled.
"Yeah." Richard stretched his arms.
"I'll tell you guys when to start," Angel said stepping up. "Ready...! Set...! Go!"
Richard brought out his ice staff and fired ice spikes at Cari 10 times faster than he did 2 days ago. Cari surprised dodged out of the way of the spikes then punched the last one that came at him and shattered it. Then Richard was right in front of Cari about to hit him with his staff on Cari's face. But Cari caught it and the force of that cracked the ground under both of them. "Richard way stronger than before. But because I almost died a little bit ago. I've also gotten stronger!" Cari grabbed Richard's staff and pushed it to the side and spinning back fist Richard! Richard shot ice spikes out of the ground and cut Cari's side, then kicked him in the side and made Cari spit up blood! Cari quickly grabbed Richard's leg then quickly swept Richard's other foot and tripped him then quickly put him in a Straight Ankle Lock! Cari's eye lost light and he immediately broke Richard's ankle. "I know you aren't down yet." Cari Spear hand struck Richard's leg and punctured his leg all the way down to the bone and grabbed Richard's bone and squeezed it till it broke. "AAAGH!" Richard yelled in pain then sent spikes from the ground through Cari's shoulders. "It's over," Cari said, as Richard suddenly passed out.
"What happened!? Why Richard just pass out!?" Avery yelled.
Suddenly nurses came rushing over and healed Richard and Cari. "Lack of experience was your downfall again." Cari let go of Richard and sat up.
"What happened!?" Osdy asked.
"I poured my Qompo in him and overtook his without him noticing. That's why he passed out. That's one of the main reasons I reach inside his leg." Cari explained. "Who knew eating a demon would come in handy this much. Maybe I should eat stronger demons. Nah I would probably die." Cari thought to himself.
"Welp I'm gonna go train." Angel walked away to find something else to do.
"Imma come with." Osdy followed Angel away.
"I'm fine now thanks." Cari stood up and rolled his shoulders. "Les, train with me."
"What?" Leslie tries to act like she heard him wrong.
"Train with. I want a training partner."
"N-Nah I'm good." Leslie shook her head no and backed away.
"Why? I'm not a monster. I know how to hold back." Cari hopped off the stone arena.
"Mmmm." Leslie hesitated.
"Avery. Do you mind sparing alongside Leslie? You and her vs me?" Cari asked.
"I'm down." Avery nodded.
"See Avery will help. Now, are you willing to?" Cari asked Leslie.
"Fiiine." Leslie's bow appeared in her hand.
And Avery's weapon appeared in his hand.
"Alright. Let's do this." Cari cracked his neck and smiled.
Meanwhile Osdy and Angel training with the dummies with spikes on them.
"If a potato can power something. Wouldn't that count as a renewable energy source?" Angel asked Osdy suddenly.
Osdy chuckled a bit then thought about it "I mean...yeah I guess. Maybe." Osdy thought about it and got distracted and the dummy smacked him in the face. "Hey!" Osdy punched the dummy and cracked it.
Angel started laughing then got smacked by the dummy too.
After a little while, Richard woke up after a little fully healed.
"What...happened?" Richard said confused.
Cari, Avery, and, Leslie stopped fighting for a moment.
"Oh, so you're finally awake," Cari said a little out of breath.
Welp, while they were explaining what happened to Richard. Turisa was in her student council room along with a few other members of the student council.
"Those damn brats!" Turisa punched her table.
"Your still mad?" A girl with a long ponytail and circle glass said as she read her book.
"I heard what happened from one of the 1st years. She did get extremely emb-"
"Shut up!" Turisa yelled over the guy with gray and black hair and a mask that didn't cover past his cheekbones. The mask was made out of some strange white wood. Like Turisa's.
"I'm gonna get back at them! I swear." Turisa clenched her fist tight.
A little bit later when the sun was going down.
"That was a good day of training," Cari said.
"I hate dummies." Angel was bruised.
"Me too." Osdy nodded.
They all walked to their dorms and rested.
"Looks like the sun is coming up." Cari went and leaned on his window seal. "Smoking would be nice right now." Cari took a deep breath and stared at the sunrise. "I wonder if I could live if I jumped from here." Cari wonders to himself and looks down. "Nah probably shouldn't right now. Mabey later." Cari left from the window seal and woke Osdy up. And soon everybody else wakes up too.
They walked out and met up with Leslie and went to class. Then suddenly a fire arrow came at Cari's face! Cari causally dodged and caught the arrow. Cari turned his head and looked at the person on top of the roof how fired it in the eyes. The guy got a cold chill. "A shot like that could have killed me." Cari thought to himself.
"Did he see me? No. There's no way." The guy who fired the arrow thought to himself.
"Where from!?" Avery and the group got on guard.
Cari pointed at the roof, "There."
The guy who fired the arrow jumped then ran away when Cari pointed at him.
"He ran," Cari said. Since it was the morning Cari didn't really care. He just started walking to class after that.
When they got to class...
"We got attacked by somebody Ms.Tsude," Angel said as they walked into class.
"What!? By who?" Tsude sounded concerned.
"I dunno. But whoever it was, was way more powerful than any of the old rank 6 snipers." Cari explained.
"Was it rank 5? What did you guys do?" Tsude scolded them a little.
"We didn't do anything to the rank 5," Avery said.
"Did you make anybody mad?" Tsude asked.
"...Oh yeah. We made fun of a person a year higher than us I think. Turisa was her name." Cari said.
The whole class jumped in fear.
"...you messed with a second-year student council rank 1!?" Tsude shouted at them. "She probably got the rank 5 to attack us. This is bad." Tsude bite her thumb fingure nail.
"as a great man once said. Whatever happens, happens." Cari walked to his seat.
"We can't afford to learn here in more. We got to start training. rank 5 is no joke. Everybody. We are going to the training ground. Everybody up. Let's go." Tsude waved and walked to the door.
Everybody stood up and followed her out.
They all followed Tsude to the training grounds and she started training each of them giving them things to do. And that was basically their whole day until lunch. While the group was on their way to launch...
"So do you guys like burgers or spaghetti more?" Angel asked. Then before they answered a group of people appeared in front of FBIWC. They were just outside the school on the side of it.
"We rank 5 are declaring war on rank 6." A guy with purpler spiky hair and proper poster through a white glove at Richard.
"Why though?" Richard asked.
"Playing dumb? We know that you guys are plotting against us ra-" Suddenly Cari pushed Richard out the way and punched the purple hair guy in the face and sent him flying into his group.
"Everybody! Put up a barrier!" Cari yelled then suddenly sniper shots came from the roof. Cari dodged out of the way of them. Then looked at the purple hair guys group and ran and grabbed a girl and used her as a shield from the shots of Qompo. Suddenly a person ran up from Cari's side and punched him and sent him 10 feet! Cari bounced off his back and back to his feet. And when he looked up 5 people were right in front of him ready to attack. Cari pulled out a sharpened piece of bamboo and threw it and went straight through 1 of the 5 people's stomachs. Then started fighting with the other 4. Meanwhile, Richard sent ice up the side of the school building and took out the snipers. Leslie fired 3 shots at the people right in front of them but they all dodged out of the way.
Angel ran down to Cari and jumped and kneed one of the people Cari was fighting and knocked them out. Then he spun and cut the other one side the kicked him in the face. Then Cari punched the one he fighting in the neck then uppercut him and knocked him out. The purple hair guy wiped the blood from his mouth then sent a wind spike at Leslie, but Osdy quickly jumped in the way and put up a barrier. But the spike went straight through and stabbed Osdy in the stomach. Avery was distracted fighting a person of his own to help him.
Richard fired an ice spike at the purple hair guy. He dodged out the way then fired a tornado out of his hand and Richard was forced to bring out his staff and block it. Leslie came upon the purple hair guy's side and fired a strongly charged arrow and fired. The purple hair guy quickly dodged and the arrow went straight through the wall. Then he rushed at Leslie but Cari and Angel ran in front of him and Cari punched the purple hair guy so hard his whole body tingled. Then Angel kicked him in the side and sent him at Richard and Richard punched him in the face and clotheslined him. The purple hair guy landed on his feet. But his face and side were bleeding. Then suddenly a woman with a Fringed Bob, black with a little blue color hairstyle.
"You ok?" The girl helped the purple hair guy up.
"Yeah. Thanks." The guy looked at the group. "Do think we could take them all on?"
"No. We ca-" Suddenly Cari was right in front of the purple hair guy. He punched the girl in the jaw a made her stumble away from the purple hair guy then Cari put the purple hair guy in a chokehold. "You attack us for no reason and you think I'm about to let you just escape? You think this an anime?" Cari said squeezing his neck tighter.
"Stop your going to kill him!" The girl yelled.
"And? I heard that rank 5 is strong. I know he got away of getting out of this chokehold. I just want to see what it is." Cari smiled.
"Wait he knows it's a trap but he still did it!? What is he planning." The purple hair guy thought to himself.
"Go on. Do it. I'm waiting for you to break away from the chokehold." Cari squeezed tighter. Suddenly Cari's arms were frozen and the purple hair guy broke away from the chokehold.
"So that's it. You can use more than just wind." Cari thought as to himself as he broke the ice with Qompo.
"Let's go." The girl said then they both retreated.
Cari looked at the group. "...as of right now. The only people that have a chance against that girl and the purple hair guy is Richard and me. They are much faster than everybody else. Thanks to all those times I've almost died I'm strong enough to fight. And Richard got stronger after the fight with the old rank 6. What unlocked that power? Was it anger? I'm gonna have to test it." Cari thought to himself as he walked back over to the group.
"Let's get Osdy to a nurse fast." Angel helps Osdy up.
"I swear we are always in trouble." Richard sighed.
When they got to the nurse's offices they heard an announcement over the speakers. "Do to the rank 4 and 5 teaming up to go against rank 6. School is closed until the war is over. And do to the barrier around the school damage will be instantly repaired so no need to hold back Have a nice day."
"Rank 5 and 4!? This could be bad." Richard said.
"And really fun," Cari added. Then suddenly Cari's smile dropped. "Richard, stand right here and fire an ice spike through the roof," Cari whispered.
Richard nodded then shot an ice spike through the roof and took out a rank 5 person. Cari Jumped through the roof and took out the last 2. Then came back down.
"How did you know people were there?" Angel asked.
"I felt the intent of violence," Cari explained. "Anyway looks like Osdy is healed."
"Yeah, I'm good and ready." Osdy stood up.
"How are we going to take on 2 ranks?" Avery asked.
"I'm leaving the planning up to Richard. I'm gonna go fight till I drop! see ya." Cari ran out of the room.
"It would have been better to stick together." Richard thought to himself. "Whatever. To be honest there is not much we can do but. Let's go to the highest place. That way it cuts off one way of being attacked." The group nodded then followed Richard to the roof while sneaking past people. Richard started thinking of a plan while up there. They sat up there for hours. Taking out anybody quickly when they came up.
Meanwhile...
"Man. Today has been fun." Cari was sitting leaned against a tree covered in blood. A lot of it his own. A lot of it other peoples. "Why is my body acting like this? It keeps shooting in temperatures. So hot. Then so cold. Am I dying? No, I know what that feels like. This is not that. I guess I should just focus on healing." Cari closed his eyes and Focused.
Meanwhile back on the roof...
Suddenly, the guy with purple hair along with a girl with blood-red hair appeared. "I knew when our people kept disappearing when they went to the roof something was off." The purple hair guy said.
"I can take on the girl and that guy with pink hair." She pointed at Leslie and Avery. Yes, Avery has pink hair.
"The main target is that one." The purple hair guy pointed at Richard.
"Then do it." The girl said. The guy nodded and sent wind spikes at Richard then Osdy and Angel. They dodged out of the way and suddenly the girl and the guy rushed Leslie and Avery and when they got close suddenly a barrier shot up and trapped Leslie and Avery inside with the enemy and Richard, Angel, and Osdy out.
Richard fired an Ice spike at it and when it hit the barrier a cut formed on Richard's arm. "Ah! What just happened!?"
"My barrier is well known for being able to reflect damage." The girl explained.
Leslie formed her bow and Avery formed his weapons.
The guy sent ice spikes at them. Leslie and Avery dodged out of the way but the girl came upon Avery's side and punched him. Avery coughed up blood and slid on his feet away from her. She rushed Avery, Avery put up his weapon to block the punch but the girl shatters them and punched Avery in the chest. Avery flew into the barrier wall. Then she ran up to Avery and stomped his face against the wall and blood came out the back of Avery's head and he passed out.
Leslie was scared. There was no hiding that. The girl rushes at Leslie and pinned her down and grabbed her hand.
"For every 5 seconds you guys haven't quit, I'm going to break one of her fingers. 1,2,3,4,5" The girls snapped one of Leslie's figures.
"NNAGH!" Leslie screamed in pain and a tear rolled down her face.
"Oh, that's right. I made the barrier so that you guys couldn't hear me." She broke another finger. And Leslie screamed in pain again. "Hey, Militan. Signal to them what I just said." The girls asked the guy whose name was Militan.
Militan used Qompo to make letters and spell what she said out.
"Give up or this is going to keep going." Richard read the message.
"We should just give up," Osdy said.
"But things will only get worse if we become under the control of these people. Did see how easily Cari took away the blond hair guy's pride. It's not going to get better if we do." Richard replied.
"But Leslie going to get every bone in her body broke!" Osdy yelled at Richard.
"It's not going to be better if we give up!" Richard yelled back.
Angel just stood back and let them argue not even sure what to say.
"It hurts." Leslie thought to herself as another one of her figures snaped. "Why is this happening to me?" Leslie felt another one of her bones snap. "It hurts. Make it stop." Leslie's voice in her head sounded like it wanted to cry.
"Da fuck!" Cari jumped as he felt like his lung was filling up with water.
"It hurts so much. Stop. Make it stop. Stop. Stop!" Leslie felt her last finger break.
"Now time for bigger things." The girl said as she grabbed Leslie's arm. "I'll give you 10 seconds this time."
"Stop! Stop! Stop!" Leslie's voice screamed in Cari's head as the filling of drowning became more intense.
"MAKE IT STOP!" Leslie screamed out loud and suddenly a huge amount of Qompo started shooting out of her forcing the girl to quickly jump off Leslie.
Leslie was lifted up by water and her eyes started to glow blue. Water surrounded her hands and healed her figures.
Cari started gasping for air but the air he got in was pushed out too fast.
"Where did this boost in power come from!?" The girl wondered.
Suddenly a small orb like the one Leslie saw in her dream appeared in front of her. Leslie grabbed it and it turned into a bow. Leslie pulled the string back and an arrow formed. When she released it, it moved faster than lightning itself! The girl just barely managed to dodge out of the way but the arrow went straight through her barrier and shatter it and the girls spit up blood. suddenly over 100 arrows 2 times overall more powerful than the last one formed behind Leslie. She pulled back her string and fired. Suddenly the arrows were weakened and they only got hit by 2 each for the both of them.
"I don't know why Leslie is suffering but, I'm sick of hearing her scream and I'm sick of this fucking feelling of being constantly being set on fire and being frostbitten. And now I feel like I'm drowning! Fuck that!" Cari tried to overpower the feeling. The more he overpowered the feeling the closer Leslie came to going back to normal.
Leslie put a lot of power into one more shot and fired it at the girl. This shot was 10 times overall more powerful than anything she fired before. The shot went straight through the girl's coller bone then a bolt of electricity shot through the girl's body and destroyed her insides. Then the arrow flew into the clouds and cleared them all away.
Cari finally suppressed the feeling and Leslies eyes turned back to normal.
Leslie looked around confused. "I thought my fingers were broken..." Leslie looked at the almost dead girl. A doctor and nurse showed up and quickly took Avery and the girl away.
"I-I feel light-headed..." Leslie fell to one knee. "My Qompo is almost all gone. What the hell happened?"
"Looks all that power is gone. better take her out fast!" Militan shot an ice spike through Leslie's legs then shot one up from the ground and stabbed her stomach.
Osdy rushed at Militan but suddenly a crystal was shot through Osdy leg and stopped him. Then the girl with black and blue hair appeared next to Militan and carried him away fast.
Leslie coughed up blood as a nurse appeared and took her away.
