(Hinata's POV)
"What name do you want? Since you'll be adventuring with me you gotta have a cool name, right?"
Her voice... sounds soothing?
Don't get me wrong, I still can't talk by the way. Only my mother was able to talk to me through telepathy. It was a one way communication.
But this... She still has the same cold voice but this time she sounded more... Should I say energetic?
Before this, her voice alone was enough to make the surrounding essence seems scared. But now it was able to bring the scared me to relax. I couldn't tell a single different between the voice before but I am also able to tell it apart. Its a hard thing to explain but-
"I'll give you the name.... Hinata"
"!?"
A name....Mother said a monsters couldn't get a name until their atleast 20 years of age. And, unfortunately, the day I turned 20 is also the day I lost her. What a coincidence. I'm sure destiny is just playing with me at this point though.
So I am never going to believe anything that contains god or anything that's somehow connected to them.
But this person doesn't seem to be the type to believe in any religious sh*t. I would probably worship her if she is able to kill that dragon though.
Not like I haven't worshiped her already.
I jumped around happily, accepting the name that was given to me.

(A few days later)
A few incident happened, and somehow I made Shiro-sama disappointed for saving her. I guess.
And that's when my PTSD kicked in.
Hearing a very familiar flapping noise from the fateful day when I lost my one and only family. That was too dramatic wasn't it? I mean its only been a few days right?
I heard Shiro-sama called out;
'...nata Hinata~ RUN!'
I'm pretty sure she said something before that but I was too lost in my mind to pay attention to the smaller details.
Although she might meant to say all those words in emotions, I couldn't help but hold my laughter when it all sounded like her normal voice, Emotionless.
I don't know if she knew that I can go inside her soul but I did exactly just that.
I couldn't tell what's happening outside but I get my own playground inside her soul. Inside her soul, I could create anything I want. Jungle, The sea, A Brand new type of world, The coldest place ever existed, Molten hot place that could melt the surroundings without even touching it, Etc...
I'm guessing that this is normal. Because when I first received the name from her, I could see a writing infront of me.
But before I could read it, it suddenly changed into a ball of light and went straight through between my eyebrows. When I looked at Shiro-sama's face, I thought I would see a reaction if she knew anything about this but I was a bit stupid to think that she would even show any.
I got a feeling that made me want to puke but I hold myself together and prevent myself from puking because I am sure nobody wants to lose their dignity.
But after the feeling calmed down, I received a bunch of information about [Master and servant] stuff.
One of the information was about the space inside her soul and that's where I am.
My master can call me anytime she wants and I wouldn't be able to think refusing because its a forced type. Not that I want to refuse her though.
I don't even know if I can survive if she haven't picked me up that day.
Then I felt something pulling me and I appeared back into the real world.
What I saw made me shiver in fear.
A giant crater, A path with trees all over the place and... a bunch of scales lying around everywhere.
Its red. Exactly like that dragon's scale. I guess master was the cause of this. I wonder if that dragon's instinct kicked in like mine.
Then I looked around me and saw my master. Still eyes closed, not even bruises was seen on her pale skin. I could see some dirt on her shirt but I would be more surprised if she didn't have any dirt on her after looking at the surrounding.
I guess I'll go full on worshiping.

After that, me and master keep going around mindlessly. Since I've been in my mother's care from birth, I don't know the surrounding area that much. I don't know anything about master though.
I've think of this possibility before but, since her eyes is always closed, doesn't that mean she's been sleepwalking the whole time? When does she sleep? Does she even need any sleep? I wonder how she read all those books with her eyes closed.
I'm just a servant so I just have to keep following her anywhere she goes.
And for some reason. I don't know why but I am always getting stronger when I'm near her. And my tail is growing at a WAY faster rate than before.
Maybe her power is influencing me in some way. She is really strong after all.
I like this kind of life. Not having to stay at the same spot all the time and do nothing is a really good experience. And I'm the one that keeps on hunting food for us.
And this is the part that confuses me the most. Her stomach is like a blackhole. Bottomless, she's not even getting fatter after eating 5 adult deers.

3 months has passed.
Master keeps on experimenting on me.
But everytime I try to remember what she did to me, I can't. Its like something is blocking my memory. Feels weird.
I came back from hunting and saw master calling for me.
She's saying something about how much Mp I can take in. She has been using some weird vocabularies when talking about strength sometimes. Not that I can say anything about her though.
I came closer to her and she patted my head. It felt really nice having her pet my head. Her hand is really soft and comfortable.
I don't mind if she pat my head for eternity and I wouldn't even complain about it not even for a second.
Then I felt something warm going through my head. Its a really nice feeling. Except for the part where I felt like exploding because she gave me too much of it.
And the worst thing was the point that she doesn't seem to get tired after giving me this much Mana!
How is that possible?!
Before I could think more about her abnormalities, I lost consciousness.
In what feels like eternity, I woke up. But the weird thing this time was the fact that I have human limbs. The wind touched my skin and its cold.
I looked at my hand and saw 5 fingers. As a fox, our fingers can't do anything on its own. But human limbs can control their fingers individually. I looked at my feet, my belly, my hair and even touch my own tail and ears just in case.
I saw master looking at me still with her eyes closed.
Not that I expect for her to open her eyes but still. I wanted to see her eyes.
"Ma-?"
"Ma-Ma-Master?"
Holy sh*t?!
I CAN TALK!
"I can talk now! Master! I can talk!" I said excitedly at my new voice. I've never heard about monster talking using their mouths. They usually uses telepathy to talk to others.
Even if they did talk with their mouths, they usually use it on a higher being like the god or someone.
I saw her nod her head even if its just a little bit.
Now I can ask her about all the questions I've been saving up!
Before that, she seems to want me to wear some clothes. I don't get why human needs to wear things on their body. Wouldn't that just get in the way during fighting?
But Master never takes off her clothes so wearing clothes is probably normal for humans.
Master took out some clothes from who-knows-where and gave it to me. Probably her space magic.
