"He's not my son!" Shouted a young woman as her grandfather, mother and step father sat morbidly in the room. "I only had sex with the fool because he was rich! I never knotted or tied the bow on the present without protection!" The young woman's anger wasn't taken seriously as her eyes a fire red trashed the living room to something an inspector would announce was the work of a break in and run.
"Hanna! Enough." Finally spoke her grandfather as he tapped his chin softly in thought. His granddaughter was a quick tempered fierce woman, no matter what the man had on her he was sure that any man would rather run from her then to blackmail.
"We can't just leave him" softly spoke Hanna's mother as the grandfather agreed. His family's reputation was not just on the line but if word got out that an son had been born to the prestigious lion family, the media would be their down fall.
"Has he said anything?" The grandfather asked his granddaughter to which she huffed in displeasure.
"Nothing. I even asked people to find him but it was like he vanished from the face of the earth."
'Did he know?' No assuming that would mean the random man had planned this out enough to frame his daughter as the mother without leaving himself in the picture. 'According to Hanna the man was a foreigner not local and spoke mysteriously and well- a bad drinker-' looking at his granddaughters face of pure sadist anger 'apparently a bad taste in women as well.'
"I did a DNA test too." Spoke Hanna in a confused but distressed tone. "They said that undoubtedly the child is mine."
'Impossible' her grandfather thought as Hanna's mother gasped and her step father blew out a distressed huff himself.
"Dear, are you certain you didn't-" started her mother as Hanna snapped and stood up yelling for about the 60th time that she was protected during the entire time and that she had even used a potion.
"Was it possible the man had a an anti-spell on him?"
"Are you kidding me!? The man wore a black robe over his body like he couldn't afford proper clothes!"
"You spoke he was rich." Chipped in her mother coldly as Hanna ceased her words in slight silence before again yelling that he was just a man who showed her a trick or two and wore a black robe with a symbol of 10 angel wings that seemed snapped off the object they were supposed to be connected too.
She raged on about his weird accent and how he whispered that she would bear a king for the universe.
"My only daughter is a whore" regretfully stated Hanna's mother as Hanna lost it and shifted through almost to her lion form with her claws out directly at her.
"I told you all that that child is not mine!"
A part of her grandfather believed her babbling hate for the man and all this commotion but there wasn't enough on the man to find him nor of who he was or what he really did.
"It is my decision then." He finally addressed the main heads of family as he passed his fuming silent granddaughter and the rest opening up the double doors to the remaining cousins, descendants and more in the next room for all to hear his final decision.
"The boy Sion will be a Reed for the time being-"
"But Grandfather!-" went to protest Hanna only to get a sharp glare from her grandfather for the disrespectfully interruption to which she looked away. Her grandfather was still the leader of this pride family until he died or passed down the responsibilities.
"As I was saying the boy will be known as a Reed and will grow up as a Reed." Hanna dejected stormed out of the house and roared letting her emotions expand out to her 'second gender'. The roar was filled with frustration and anger that she could not express on the man she had spent that one nighter with.
Little did she know the man was constantly watching her from afar.
*the night before*
"You are not from this world- did you send the curse on my family?" the grandfather asked laying upon his bed on his back.
A man wearing a black cloak slowly proceeds to his bedside remaining in the shadows.
"NøT a cùRsE - A bLëSßiŋG" he heard the cloaked man say as he closed his eyes.
"I briefly remembered it. When those fractures first came to the world, I was only young then but I know beings like you are considered Gods."
The black cloaked man stayed silent as the wind howled outside indicating a storm was brewing.
"I know what you beings are capable of. Even though it was for a split second I saw the harsh smiles your kind makes at people like us. It's a game to you, entertainment, nothing but a thrill you seek to inflict pain on others." Opening his eyes with clear sorrow in them.
The man in the black cloak finally came into the light and bent down taking off his mask and showing the grandfather the truth of what he was. The grandfather although shocked seemed relieved yet horrified at the same time as the man put his mask back on.
"I see. You were one of us and wished to serve on last time to correct your mistakes. Does that mean the boy-"
"ThE cHoSeN" the man interrupted with his simple yet unpleasant tone of voice.
