'I wonder why he pulled me aside' Sion thought as old man Herald sat down besides him outside the bar.
"Now tell me boy, when did ya get so powerful" freezing upSion with a horror struck face turned to look at Herald. 'He had noticed'

'Not helping 02! What the hell am I supposed to say?' Sion didn't think much about his kidnapping but when he thought about it-
"I know ya have your reasons for hiding it" Herald continued as Sion who didn't appear stressed felt as though he might have to silence Herald if he pushed it. Herald sensing this didn't push but rather played it safe as he then grabbed his favourite bottle and decided to have a toast to himself.

No that wasn't it. He sensed it but so did Sion, a darker entity that got stronger everyday as he trained. In truth even if Herald went full out on him, Sion was the one more holding back. Did he need a new teacher? Fuck who was he kidding?! Who the fuck wanted to die a swift painful death? Was there even anyone who could match him at this point?

As if a light bulb was lit Sion stood up,
"I got to go old man" hearing that phrase didn't surprise Herald anymore but the side smirk Trish would send his way had him irked.
"What you gawping at?" He accused as Trish simply smiled cheekily at the big mean dragon. Huffing Herald looked in the direction Sion had left. It seemed before the lad was here for revenge but now it seemed like his plans had changed without him saying it vocally.
"He's really like you you know" spoke Trish over the yelling in the back as she waltzed away from a table to another to wipe it down as she muttered about the bathroom.
'That's what scares me' Herald thought deeply. 'If the boy was anything like me when I was younger, the lad might have blood already on his hands.' If only Herald knew as Sion ran at top speed missed by most if not everyone's eyesight.

"Thought you would know 02?" Sion snickered as he had learnt to block 02 out with some things, something 02 was not happy about.

"My bad- but this is the Underground right?" Sion spoke calmly as his body was lifted a mile high so he could see the tops of business and some houses. "I can't believe I had forgotten why this place is the most famous" as if putting two and two together as Sion landed on-top of a building only to look down on fully transformed beasts ripping each other apart blood and claws he laughed.

It was genius, it was simple, the answer had been here all along. Sure Herald was good for training but this; ruthless battle of 2v2 or 1v1, nothing more than just plain slaughter house. Unless it's a special occasion or just a warm up, Night Cage was what the Underground's in every Nation were famous for. A fight to the death, glory, greed and money bets. Sion could go out in here without a problem- only, he could remember Herald said people are always watching in the Underground. If what he said about people disappearing recently was true before he'd passed out in the bathroom.
Could he be at risk of getting involved with the wrong people? Who was he kidding he passed the whole not caring thing when he came here looking for a teacher. He was stronger both mentally and physically than back then- even when some things have still not made sense.
Jumping down Sion walked down the dark stairs till he reached a door with two big men guarding it.

The creatures gurgled and screeched in their language in almost joy and approval. Their effort not in vein as if this had failed them in the past even though they had done the procedure so many times before.

Grabbing his head in slight discomfort Sion took a deep breath again, it hadn't been long since that situation- being burned alive. It would take him hours to sleep these days, sometimes he was just going off the mass of food he'd now eat as a normal everyday thing. Burning the energy as a last resort, thinking about it made things morbid as he shook off the thought and made his way close to the entry.
He had seen the sign from a distance but now up close it seemed more personal 'Night Cage' in full neon red overhead the door where the two men who watched Sion carefully. Getting closer one of the men seemed to have used a skill but Sion unaffected decided to just go along with the procedure of things.
"State your business" spoke one as the other seemed to tense up defensively.
"I want to fight in the cage" Sion stated as the one who had spoke scoffed.
"Aren't you a little young to want to die in a place like this?"

'It's official 02 is insane' ignoring he intrusive input Sion planned his next words carefully.
"I don't have anyone that will miss me if I do die young. I at least want a chance to let out a beast inside me"

Before Sion could reply to 02 the men at the door laughed.
"He sounds desperate to die man maybe we should let him?" Chuckled one to his partner as the other grim looked at Sion.
"And what? Lose our jobs over a kid getting mulled to death?" He finally responded as the guy before shrugged his shoulders. "If he wants to die- I say let em"
"Not happening"
'This is going nowhere- wait'
"Alright then, how about this. If I can survive you both attacking me for a solid 5 minutes going all out. Would you let me then?" Sion negotiated swiftly as one of the guys seemed to like the idea of seeing some action.
"There's no difference-"
"Oh but there is-" Sion cut in as the man went to speak "Unlike the Cage, you guys have the option to opted out if you feel I'm not gonna make it before 5 minutes"
As if re-evaluating the situation the hard head of the two finally shrugged. "Very well but you won't be entering through this door till you prove yourself otherwise"
