Few Months Later
Erica came back to her hotel room after having a tired day.
She was currently in Los Angeles as she and Jacob had to flew here for one important case.
For the last five days, they worked their asses off and finally they were done with the work they came for, today.
Erica slouched on the couch as soon as she entered her room and called Steve.
For the last five days, her calls with Steve were very brief due to the time difference between DC and LA.
Also, she was too tired to hold long conversations but tonight she was free as their work was over and they were supposed to fly to DC next day.
In spite of multiple attempts, she couldn't get through Steve's phone, so Erica decided to call him after having a good bath.
She pampered herself with a champagne bottle and a had a nice hot water bath in the tub.
It was almost an hour by the time she was done.
