"You won't like my answer" Erica smiled at him but there was pain in her eyes which was noticed by Steve.
"Even if I won't like it, I would want to know it"
Steve believed in such cases, digging deeper and approaching the problem at its roots is the only solution, so he wished to talk about it.
"If I am as beautiful and attractive as you claim me to be, then why did you choose to date Lisa in high-school?" Erica directly asked him.
Steve was taken aback and turned speechless. Never he expected Erica to ask him this kind of a question. He was not sure where this was coming from and why she would suddenly bring up Lisa, out of blue.
Erica looked at him, to see if he would be able to give her an answer and just like she expected, he couldn't.
"Let's head to your home, Uncle and grandpa must be waiting" Erica coldly said and headed out.
