"Hmm, you are right" Steve put a very strong point forward and William couldn't oppose to it.
"Yeah, so I am giving up on this dad."
"Already? Maybe try a bit harder"
"No dad"
"Steve…."
"I am sorry for letting you all down"
Then Steve cut the call and lied on the bed.
He never thought he would give up on Erica so fast but after seeing her reaction, he did not have the heart to continue pursuing her as it would only enrage her.
After a while, he started feeling hungry as he didn't have his dinner.
Steve slowly headed downstairs and started searching for some food when Erica too joined him there, startling him.
He expected her to be rude, but surprisingly she treated him way better than he expected.
Steve started feeling better but he forgot to call and inform his dad of how Erica calmed down and was fine, which again gave Steve the hope to pursue her for marriage.
