Erica realized Steve lied to Mark as he is a kid and she too appreciated it as she didn't want her brother to know the whole truth.
"He did but I was surprised that he shared this with you" Erica covered it up.
"Yeah, I understand it might feel awkward for you but he is not the one at fault, I asked him if he loves you and then he answered" Mark explained.
"Got it" Erica ruffled his hair and she realized what must have happened and why Steve lied, she was glad Steve knew what to speak where.
"I am really happy for you sis" Mark informed her.
"Mark, why did you suddenly forgive Steve, only because he loves me?" Erica asked her brother as she could see from the day before he stopped acting rudely towards Steve.
If Mark would have decided to continue troubling Steve, then the proposal of last night wouldn't have been possible.
