Erica sighed in relief and close the door and waited for him in the corridor with her phone ready in hand.
After a few minutes, the door to Steve's room opened and Erica immediately turned around facing her back to Steve and kept her switched off phone near her ear.
She started laughing, "My goodness Adam, you are so amazing" She excitedly said on the phone.
When Steve came out the room and saw Erica there, he had a smile on his face but when he heard what she said on the phone, his smile froze.
'That Adam again' He gritted his teeth.
Realizing Steve's presence behind her and feeling his gaze on her Erica continued without turning back.
"Yeah, I am also missing you as much as you are missing me."
She paused and continued.
"The arrangements are good, but I really wish you were here with me"
She again paused
"Don't worry, I'll come back to Seattle soon and then we can…"
