"I didn't know it was his mom's wish too" Erica told her father.
"He didn't tell you?" Paul was a bit surprised.
"Nope" Erica shook her head saying no.
"I hope you didn't slap him after his proposal." Paul joked.
"No, I did shout at him though."
"He should have taken my advice" Paul again commented helplessly shaking his head.
"Come on dad, that is even worse" Erica couldn't believe how her father was supporting a lie.
Paul smiled and said, "Now I understood why you were never able to get over him"
Erica looked around to see no one heard her dad, especially Steve.
"Don't worry, although your rooms are next to each other, your balconies are placed separately"
"Thanks to that architect" Eric raised her beer toasting him and the two people took a sip.
"He is a very nice guy, Erica. After talking to him, I realized why you love him so much"
