"Can I get a drink?" Mark walked towards them and Steve had to let go of Erica.
"Aren't you too young for a drink?" Erica glared at her brother.
"I am nineteen, just two years away from the legal age but I was talking about lemonade not alcohol"
"Good boy" Erica ruffled his hair and made him a lemonade.
"So, where are you studying at?" Steve asked him but Mark ignored his question and didn't bother to answer him.
Erica was about to ask Mark to answer Steve but then she remembered what Mark told her earlier, he apparently heard the conversation between her and their dad the night before she left for Stanford.
So, Erica understood Mark knew about her feelings for Steve and that's why he was upset with him.
She didn't wish Mark to harbour hatred towards Steve for what happened between them as she knew Steve was not at fault.
