"Hey don't you worry. He is a strong man, he will be alright" Erica rubbed his arm trying to console him.
"I am scared Erica, I don't think he would make it" Steve's voice broke while he was talking.
Erica tightly hugged him seeing his condition and lovingly rubbed his back, "Steve you need to be strong. Please don't be like this, you need to take care of your father too, so please stay strong." She tried to motivate him.
Steve tightly hugged her as her arms gave him the comfort he was longing for.
"Thanks Erica" He then checked the time as he had to go back in.
"I need to leave" He wanted Erica to accompany him but he knew that wouldn't be convenient for her so he kept these feelings to himself and bid her adieu.
"Take care of yourself and call me as soon as you land in Washington" Erica requested him and he nodded his head.
He then took a few steps away from her when he suddenly remembered something, and he went back to her.
