Steve was confused and wondered why she was suddenly calling him, then he thought of that stalker and in panic he quickly ran towards his car and left for her home in a hurry.
It usually takes around twenty minutes to reach her house but Steve drove his car at full speed and reached there in ten minutes.
He ran inside her house only to see Erica relaxing on the couch and watching a movie.
She was startled to see Steve, she checked the time and looked at him in doubt.
"I was driving around your area so I was able to reach faster" He lied trying to hide his fear.
For a moment, he thought those people did something to her or they captured her.
But seeing her state he realized he was overthinking.
"Why did you suddenly call me back?" He asked her.
"Arthur called, there is something important he wanted to share" She coldly informed him and not for once she looked in his direction and continued watching the television.
