"Steve, I kissed you just for the sake of this fake act. Please don't think too much about it. Let's be adults about it and move on" Erica interrupted him as this kiss was very special for her and she was afraid whatever Steve would say will only hurt her feelings, so she didn't let him speak.
Steve felt a sudden pain when he heard her words, she clearly meant this kiss didn't mean anything to her and it was only a facade to continue their fake act.
Steve smiled at her, "Understood"
Erica too smiled back at him, "It will be great if we just pretend we never kissed. I don't want to make things awkward for us"
"Erica, I never asked you one thing" Steve had the sudden urge to know more about Erica's personal life which he never asked her before.
