I procured a cloak from my spatial ring and wrapped it into the sleeping form of Gallahan. Wait. He's my brother now as well. So it's supposed to be big brother Gale. Why am I so compliant and trusting you might ask? To be honest, it's not really a case of being too loose in my guard.
I just think that it's really tiring to keep on suspecting people for no reason. I wasn't on Earth anymore. And moreso, I am on my way to a place where I don't know anyone. Rejecting people who hold goodwill towards me especially when I can see and feel that they hold no hidden agenda seemed like a heartless thing to do.
This was supposed to be my new life. A life different than the one I previously had as a Captain. A life away from a neglectful family. A life where I am surrounded with positivity and acceptance. Since I want something like that, I better start in my own self.
