Celina shook her head, making her matted yellow bangs spill over her forehead. "But this makes no sense, Xia. I mean, my arm wasn't even broken!"
"That doesn't matter. Muscles and tendons are just as important part of a human body as bones, Lin-Lin." Xia moved her fingers over Celina's palm in circular, soothing motions.
Celina's breathing slowed and her blue eyes met Xia's almost black ones. "I wish I had something to protest with, but I don't. Do you know how bad my arm is going to be, Xia?"
Now it was Xia's turn to shake her head. Celina took a deep breath and tried to pull a smile back on her face, but it was strained and wobbly.
