"That doesn't mean we should waste them on him," Rasolka said with a scoff. The woman clearly was in a foul mood, and Eve guessed that the trial itself was the reason. From the few things Eve knew about her, Rasolka didn't like publicity, and this trial was set in the middle of an immense crowd.

"Miss Rasolka, please, don't say such things. We aren't monsters!" Raynolds exclaimed animatedly.

She only shook her head in response and stared into the distance, seemingly done with the entire event. Raynolds pursed his lips, but didn't call her on that, instead returning his attention to the other judges.

"I agree with your position, Chief, and I think that most of us do, too. But we still must secure our base from the criminal," Kang said.

Victor nodded. "An imprisonment. Enough of it to let Mister Loupe repent and change his criminal mindset. But I think that to have a better idea of how long it can take, we should question Mister Loupe further first."
