Public trials were a relatively rare thing on Radiant Base. Petty crimes didn't warrant them, while bigger ones, like murder, usually ended with the criminal killed during an attempt to apprehend him or her. The latter was even truer now when everyone were packed with superpowers.
Thanks to all that, Loupe's trial gathered an enormous crowd. As the Director of External Affairs, he was a public figure, and more so than some other directors. On that day, the entire Board gathered to judge him, adding even more fuel to the fire of the human curiosity.
